'White Lotus!', two white undentify arrow hit the creature wings and explode. Fortunately, the creature wings were tear apart and it falls down near the outskirt, the new few arrow is unleashed it dissolved the shadow that tangling her.
Layla jump to thank her saver but she sees none. From the corner of her eyes, she sees the same hooded figure at the terminal rossette village before. This time she knows it a girl but who. She couldn't exactly say. 'Ly!!', Ash call from afar. She turn around only to be greet by three worried faces.
'Ash!Ray! Zierra!', she spread her arms to hug them instead she got squished and blame.
'Stop wasting time! we need to destroy that whatever creature fast! the people of this town in in the middle of evacuation I need details on that.'
Ray rub his sore neck and start to speak up 'Half of the people manage to leave the town safely but the other half is heading to that place. Adding note Myra is on the verge of going insane like before we were sent on that mission.'
'What Mi-', Ash didn't continue when Zierra death glare him. Changing the subject quickly she asks Ash about the perimeter of the town.
Ash cross his arm over his chest 'Half of the town is damage but the other half isn't touched. There are much severe black magic around the damaged half plus the electricity around here is increased by three thousand volts. I fear this is not from the holed part of the electricity compartment like they say during the interview but it's a human doing. This much energy added couldn't be extract by machine only a professional energy dragon tamer.'
'So are you saying there are more enemies out there rather than that', she points the dark creature.
Ash nod, 'But when I attacked the monster I sense something weird, the energy is coming form a source far away. In other words the monster is nothing more than a mere puppet. The puppet master is hiding somewhere in between the forbidden forest and the ancient ruins'.
'So Ash, is there a way we can defeat the monster?'. Layla just stare and load what just happen. The scene in front of her is three hundred sixty degree different. Ash is the smart one and Ray is negotiating with Ash in a nice way and Zeirra is listening and she didn't say something bad to the two boys.
'Ly, are hearing what we are planning or are you just standing there and day dream?'. Layla shake her head and chuckle nervously, she bit her bottom lip and shrugged. I hate Ash when he is in this mode. 'Could you repeat the whole thing please'.
Ash sigh, Layla narrowed her eyes not wanting to look him in the eye. 'The only way to stop that monster is using you new galaxy daggers, Ray's water soul whip and Zeirra's piercing white camellia spear'.
'Where are the strings placed?'.
'In each of the dragons body but the biggest one is it's abdomen. I can't cut the string but I can be the bait. I will make the monster to go after me, meanwhile the three of you cut each strings. okay!'.
Layla gulp, this is not how she expect but if this is how he wants it then this is how she going to do it.
They arrive on the outskirt. Layla gulp, everything were demolished, even the grass is dying like their energy were sucked into something bad. She can feel her heart beating, her fear is coming to life and she is not up for it. A soft warm hand slip into her's. She look up and a tint of red appear on her white soft skin. Another hand is put on her fore head.
'Are you sick Ly? Your face seems to be a bit redder than before we arrive', Layla see Zeirra and Ray slapping their fore head with Ash density of girls. 'Nothing, It's just that I'm afraid about the plan. What if I mess up what-', a soft kiss is implanted on her forehead which make her face red scarlet than before.
'Aww, come on yer little baby pant. I know you, don't you worry, the Ly that I know never make everyone worry about her. I believe in you'.
'We all do', Ray and Zeirra approach the both of them. Ash already have his playful grim plastered all over his face. Layla couldn't help but smile. She is surprise to see Ash true self and the true feelings of friendship.
This life if full of surprises. That how I like it.
'Oh Ash! Don't you just go kissing other people foreheads again or you going to be kill by somebody', Zeirra purposely shout. She eyes Layla. Layla face is deeper in scarlet. She hates it when her friends tease her like that. Thank god Ash is a dens idiot. Opss... Not idiot but genius.
'Let's begin the Mision!'.
'Yeah!!!'.
