‘Kuh!’, she open her eyes, everything is spinning. She looks
around, everything is white, even the curtains. Almost half of her body is
bandaged. ‘Oh you are awake already!’, a woman about twenty come in. She is a
petite girl with fair skin, long wavy hair, charming smile and flawless face.
‘Where am I?’, June move but the sharp pain is limiting her
ability. The woman moves to her and help her. ‘You shouldn’t move too much, the
healing water doesn’t work in a jippy ya’know’.
June look into the eyes, the eyes that spell sincere. ‘Can I
ask you something miss?’.
‘Just call me Harune or Haru if you like’, she smiles. She
brings in a trolley with a tray. The tray holds boiling white liquid. ‘Now to open the bandage
on your arm’. June doesn’t protest but a question pops in her head.
‘Why are you here?’. The maid turn around, with a glance you
could see her face turn serious but the next a smile appear.
‘Oh whatever do you mean?’, she lied. June grunt, couldn’t
anybody be honest with me?.
‘Don’t play dumb! You know what I mean specifically. Now if
you please tell me the answer.’
The maid sigh, ‘You are smarter than you look young
princess. But the question is not here for me to say, I myself have been
wondering for years and search for an answer. NO prevail, none of them have
answers’.
‘Liar! Everything has answer, tell me! The real reason you here. The reason why the
dragons accepted you here. To be one of them’.
‘Humans and dragons have different personalities. Humans are
weak but stronger when they wants to. Dragon are naturally string but weaker in
a way. Human have no shame in losing their loyalty or dignity as long as they
get what they desire. Not a moment they think about the consequences they will
face in the end.’
‘But not all of them are like that. Some are better than the
other.’
‘Ahh, true. Some are better but people mostly thinks about
themselves. Dragons are different. Loyalty, bond and dignity. Those three things
are the most important thing in a dragon’s life. Not a moment they can afford
to lose one of them. But the feeling to forgive never did existed. A dragon has
no felling for love and compassion like human did. Dragon and human complete
each other need by fault.’
Haru dip the clothe inside the liquid and wrap the wound.
June twitch but she hold back the tears. ‘Pain? Humans feel pain, emotion and
physical. What is your name my dear?’.
‘June. Hikari June’.
‘Ohh, such a lovely name. The light of June, may I ask you
another question?’.
June pulls a bitter smile ‘Sure! I hope it’s not too hard
for me to answer. Do ask me anything’.
‘Have you ever feel pain in heart before?’. June face turns solemn, she could answer
anything. Anything but that question.
‘Many. Countless times if I may say so myself. Sometimes I
wonder, does god hate me? Did I do something bad to deserve all that? Sometimes
I wish I was dead but it never happened.’
Haru chuckle ‘My oh my, what a life you have been through. But
I think god made you suffer for a reward you could never imagine.’
‘Hmm, I hope so. Maybe the person I love will loves me back?’.
There is a silence pause before June continues ‘Nah! That
will never happens since he already have someone he likes’. June feel anxious
when the damp clothe is not on her arm. When she turns around, the girl have love shaped eyes. Oh god, I can't never get myself outta this.
'OMG! you got a crush. Man that is fast.', Haru climb on the bed and face June. 'Sorry, do you mind me staying here a tad bit longer?'. June could never been happier, 'Sure!'.
'So.. who is the lucky guy?'. Haru nudge June, June just bitterly smile. 'I don't think he is lucky at all. Having some freak loves him? That is a nightmare if you ask me'.
'What!!! How can a guy resist such beautiful,elegant and petite girl as you. Wait let me take back the last one, a very formal one'.
June chuckle, for the very least she is not in the bad mood. 'Thank you! That's a first. You are the second one that ever tells me that'. Scooting even closer, Haru has this one question in her head. 'Who is the first person?'.
An image of Zeille pops 'He-', she couldn't bring up her courage to speak. Haru understand the atmosphere. I shoudn't have pushed June over the edge. She stands up and clears the mess she made. 'I suppose if you don't want to talk about him I can leave'.
June is shocked when she says that. 'N-No that is not what I mean. I like your company, It has been such a long time since I feel so comfortable'. Haru beam with happiness. 'Really!', June nod with agreement.
She finishes her cleaning quick before taking a seat right next to her gal pal. June takes a deep breath before she continues 'Well. He is my foster brother but not actually brother. I just thought he as my brother..', June about to explain further but Haru holds her hand. 'That is okay I understand your description.
'Well he has this scary look on his face. He always looks so scary but he is really nice and trustworthy. Or so I thought he is'.
'What happened my friend?'.
'He kind of stabbed me on the back and trade me to the dark guild called Fairy killer. He also the last trigger before I lost control of myself to the dark side'.
'I pity you. What is his name?'.
'Zeille. His name is Zeille, I wonder if that is his true name or it's not'. June could feel Haru's heart beating fast. She is reminiscing something, something from the past.
'Hey,' June touch her shoulder. Haru jump in fright. 'You scare the skin out of me. Wow look at the time, I need to get going. Oh I will be back'.
Not knowing to say anyhing June just nod in reply. That's weird, I just says his name and she already pretty jumpy. I wonder if she had met him before. That Haru girl stores more secret that I thought.
I can't believe he is involved in such group. Shifting her true form she stomp over to the middle of the cave. 'Minions! I want you to go to the pesky humans dimension and bring me Zeille of Sundra. I have some unfinished business with him.'
'Roger that Master Freeze!'. He turns around and walks away. I'm going to kill the daylight out of that kid mind.
