Ray couldn't help but feel reassure by the gesture June is implying.Still, he didn't have the heart to tell her the truth. Even so, he wish not to let a small petty feelings get in between their friendship. He like being friends with her,but to be in love..... He just couldn't.
'June....', June crane her neck, she feel slightly sadden to see Ray's eyes void and sad. She open her mouth to say something but nothing comes out because the meteor shower in front of her. When the show end, June climb to her feet, she excuse herself to the bank of the nearest river. Humming to herself, she feels serene just to be alone until a familiar voice breaks her reverie. She turn around to see Ray fidgeting in his spot. She chuckle, Ray never shown this side of him before.
'I need to give you a clear cut answer. Sorry, I can't return that feelings of yours. We can never be a lover. We just-', he is shock to see June hugging him. She was not one to show affection in public.'That's okay. Thank you for considering my feelings. But really though, you don't need to go all this trouble.' June pat his shoulder before leaving him bewildered in the clearing. She hasn't spoken any words to him when they were on their way home.
It would be an utter lie if her heart hadn't shatter to pieces. Raila, notice the tense atmosphere engulfing both her temporary parents. 'Are you guys fighting?', she ask with anxiety. June sigh, she couldn't let emotions control her works. Burdening everyone with her over sensitive side is the last thing she wants to do now. Pulling a bitter smile she ruffles Raila's hair. 'We aren't fighting sweety.' Raila says no more,oh June. Your facade is too transparent.

June make way towards her veranda. She caresses the railing. Memories of him and her flashes through her mind, tears slowly trickle down her face. She was too into her emotions she didn't realize Myra's presence. She jumps when a cold hand grope both her shoulders.
'Confuse?'. June weakly nods.
'Ya' know. This is a good start', June shot Myra an unbelievable look, was she trying to console her or make matter worse. 'Hey, let me finish. This is a challenge. Ray never opens up to anyone like this, not even Ash and they practically brothers. The point is, this is a testament to prove whether you truly loves him or not, whether your love is pure or not. Sure, he rejects you now but we never knows what the future holds, maybe next time, he would say 'I regret pushing you aside'. Right now, it's better not to cross the line and befriended him, be there when he needs you. Show him who you really are, make him love the whole you', Myra push a strand of hair behind her ear 'Your imperfection and perfection'.
June sniff, Myra can be a great understanding person when she needs it even though she's kind of wacko when it comes to her pairings. Myra tuck her friends to sleep, she tap her duvet and wish her friend happiness. I guess Max is true. I shouldn't push them too hard. Myra close the door slowly, she let out a heavy sigh. She tip toe towards her room, pulling out her phone from her pillow She needs distraction and she needs it fast. Her brow knitted when she receive a message from the sponsor.
'For the next event: Fashion show!!!. This will be a great medium to make their relationship closer'. Myra rub her head together like a maniac, I'll have a talk with Velery afterwards.
