'Bah! more of this little lies of yours. Just admit it, you are lying to get everybody's attention. Please the dragon extinct about one thousand years ago and now you claiming to have lived with a dragon. Now isn't that a queer story. Furthermore they are vicious, she could eat you at anytime'.
'Fellia isn't vicious! she's is kind as anyone. Don't you dare insults my family', this time Ash is enrage. Ray can make fun of him as many as he likes but bringing his family up, Ray just cross the line.
'What? felling hurt. Oh please have mercy in me master! don't hurt me. After all you go tha-'.
Ray couldn't continue when a star like hand punch him in the face. 'That's enough! Ray, don't you insult Ash like that.'
'Heh! hiding behind a girl ea! Not much of a man if you ask me'.
'He-!', Ash squeeze Star's palm, he shake his head as a sign of no. Star grit her teeth, but Ash's pleading ain't going to stop her true intentions.
'Star dust! materialize!', within minutes around Ray stars appears, slamming into his body and glue him to the ground. 'There, that should keep you in place', Star brush her hands and went up stairs. From the stairs she screamed 'If Ash didn't forgive you you will never get out of that'.
Ray grunt, he squirms and wriggle but no avail. He's totally stuck. 'Here', Ash hand him a cup of tea.
'Are you retarded? I can't drink my hand is stuck!'.
'Oh! then forgive me for my rudeness,', he put his hand on fire and burn the sticky goo. Ray wriggle his wrist. he twitch a bit when Ash hold out his hand.
'Shoot man why are you so nice to me?'. Ash chuckle. 'You don't understand anything now do you?'.

Ray rub his face, Layla could see his facial change as pale as a ghost. 'I'll get that crybaby here. I think he's mourning right now'. June stop him on his first step. 'No, I'll confront Ash. I have felt his pain. I know the feeling to lose somebody. So let me help him. Please'. Ray could see the sincerity in June's eyes, with a heavy heart he let her do what she want.
'Thank you', June skip towards Ash.
'I'm going to sit some where near the bough so don't bother to find me'. Zeirra scoff, she cross her arms. But a a painful expression never fades from her faces since Ray reminisce. 'They were never the smae since her death. Gah! why can't they get over it'.
'Actually, no one ever feel the same way since Star died. Even the master is a bit edgy when it comes to her issue.' Velery butts in.
Layla wipe the dust of he clothes an walks away from the darken group. Somehow she have the feeling that something or someone is robbing their happiness away.
'Hey,What's buggin' you? I know for an instance you didn't mean to take on the quest but something is wrong'. Ray blush, he doesn't want Layla to know his biggest secret ever. A secret so big that it might devastate his reputation.
'Spill the beans if you want me to help you', Layla slap the back of his head.
'Yeouch! okay. I'll tell you but no hitting'. Layla chuckle 'Sure'. Meanwhile.....
'Ouch!', June giggles. 'Hey! what was that for? I mean I'm-', June slap his mouth.
'Stop it! I have enough you people being sad all the time'.
'MmHMblergh',June jerk her hands away when Ash lick her palm.
'Eww! gross!', she wipe it on his shirt. 'Heh! you are the one who ask for it. Anyway you never understand anything. If only I was stronger back then, Star wouldn't...', Ash bit his lip. June sigh, she know putting some sense in this boy by pep talk isn't going to work.

She stomp her feet in a rhythm making the dew on the grass froze and rise to the air.

The crystallises dew explodes into fine pieces and showers them. Ash feel the coldness surrounds him. Putting out the flame of regret in his heart.
'So what do you say? Forget the past and move on', June hand out her palm and a star ice is form. Ash smirk, how foolish of him.
'Yeah, I ain't gonna cry anymore', he grab her hand.
The crystal ice melts, suddenly, the ground shook vigorously. Both of them have panicked face plastered all over. Ash kneel and touch the ground, 'the movement of the tectonic plates is weird like it's moving following a bigger movement.'
'You mean, there's something underneath us moving freely', Ash nod. A pinkish tentacled rise from beneath the ground slinking it's way towards Ash's body. 'Damn! they catch us'. He set his hand on fire and burnt the tentacles. But the more he burn the numbers multiplies.
'Twin sword Isis!', June slash her way through but the same problem embrace her. She takes a few step back as the tentacles grow larger in number.
'I ain't playing games no more. Ash set his body aflame. He pluck his fingers and the tentacles explodes into pieces. No freaking way! he mastered such skill I though- June is interupted when a tentacle manage to coil around her neck and mouth. She try to stab the tentacle bur another one appear and chain her hands.
'Shoot! June!', Ash tries to reach for the girl but his hand is pull away by three tentacles. Despite that he keep on trying, touched by Ash's action June march forward trying to reach her friend's hand. They almost there but the numbers coiling around them increase rapidly making their ability to move lessen.
They almost reach each other only another inch. So close yet so far.

'So that's why so was so eager to go on a such dangerous job'. Ray stiffen, he was naive and foolish back then. His mistake never fails to hunt him.
'I think Star is mad right now', Ray face her, with curiosity in his eyes the girl answer 'Because you are mourning over her death'. Still confuse Ray look up, the sky is beautiful with stars decorating every inch of it.
'Sure, Star might be mad that you brought up the matter but she will be devastated to know that her dearest friend is sad.'
'Why?', Layla takes a seat closer. 'Imagine, you die to see your companion smile but in the end they never did. Only the deceit smile is there. Your efforts will be wasted to nothing. You wan to achieve another but it doesn't turn out the way you wished'.
'So are you saying that Star sacrifices her self that night to see me live a happy life?'. Layla nod slowly, hey eyes glimmers under the beautiful night. 'Feeling a bit better?', Ray nod but his head is still a bit messy.
'Fine then, do what you want but I'll go back to the camp. I beat. See you tomorrow but don't stay up too late', she bit him goodnight before she completely left him alone to think.

Some weird bubbling sound caught his attention. Ray walks towards the lake, something is rising from beneath it. Bit by bit it shows a figure of a short hair girl with twin edge spear in her hand.
'Hi! I'm you guardian ancestor Cecilia. The water guardian'. Ray stand in his guarding pose, Cecila chuckle. 'Man you are fascinating. I never found a species as egoistic as you'.
'What are you?', before Ray could say another word a wall of water erupted from the ground trapping him inside the water barrier. 'What the heck are you doing to me?'.
'Don't you get it? I'm handing down my pearl duh!. Okay here's the thing, I ain't giving my pearl for free you know but you need to pay me something. Something precious like your friend!', Cecilia tap her staff on the water and an orb rose from the ground. An image of his friend struggling to break free from tentacles that rose from the ground appear.
'What are you doing to them!', the Cecilia twirl her hair and sashay to Ray. Placing her hand on his shoulder she release a fiery water attack, breaking the bones on his right shoulder. 'Ack!', Ray hold his shoulder, he couldn't feel a thing. Another attack hit him this a wave of pain shot through his body ringing the very core of his brain.,
'Listen here midget! If you don't defeat me very soon you can say bye-bye to you little precious friends!', her eyes are vulgar, she shatters the orb into pieces. 'So are you going to give up?', Cecilia points her spear at his throat.
'LIKE HELL I'M GOING TO LOSE TO A GIRL!', pillars of water slam into Cecilia. Cecilia move her hands and the pillars disappears into tiny water droplets.
'I ain't done yet!', Ray stood on his two feet. Suddenly the atmosphere temperature turn higher. 'Magma over boil!', the vapor surround Cecilia making her hard to breath.
'Child's play. Disperse, Cooling oasis', the water vapor turns into ice. Ray twitch none of my attacks are getting through this girl. Still! I can't lose. Especially to a girl!.
'Still going on with that bragging of yours? Lowly human suffer the power of the unruly water guardian!', Cecilia rose up from the lake sucking every bit of the water from the lake. Her armor change, more spikes form from her sides to her legs.
Bangs cover his eyes, he had enough of the playing jokes. 'I call thee, the master guardian of water. The armoured dragon Railer'.
'It has been a while child. What do you need to summon me here?'.
'Hah! You using such weak creatures can defeat me! the true rule of the seas!'.
'Hold your horses young lady, are you not one of the-', Railer was cut off when a water slam him body.
'I answer to nobody until someone wins but for entertainment let this be the spectators'. The orb appears again. Ray is shocked to see all his friends being tortured mercilessly. He need to do something, he can't lose he can't lose to a girl.
'Water impact! Fiery nebula! Poseidon lightning Triton!', three simultaneous attack hit Cecilia but just like before she make the attacks disappear. 'Fool! Water spikes', spikes pierces Ray's body sending a wave of unbearable pain.
'Don't forget about me!', Railer slam his spear at Cecilia but a water barrier keep her safe. She smirk 'Now you have come to my territory! Rise my dearest friends and join me!', all the liquid stated matters start to move, the puddle mud, everything start hitting Railer.
'This ain't do no harm to me! Explode cursed fangs', Railer claws his way out.
'Idiot! don't you hear? Everything that is a liquid matter follows my orders! your attack are useless', all the things stood again bigger than before hit Railer, tearing up his chest.
'Move! Water dragon breath!', he manages to vapourise all of them but not enough to let them win. Cecilia crack her knuckles 'Now this will be fun'.
'Enough! I don't have time for this they are waiting for me!'. Cecilia grin 'Who's waiting for you?'.
'My friends!', both Railer and Ray attack Cecilia at the same time sending her deep inside the earth core. She chuckle 'I know this will be amusing but never this much', the lava ooze out and surrounds her. 'Liquid control matter change!'.
'Gah!', Ray bend down, his body can't take anymore of the pressure.
'You called me, use a dragon synchronized mode, use a simultaneous attacks and go all out. I'm impress you have grown much stronger'.
'Heh! I ain't going to be beaten by a measly girl. But why the barrier isn't dispelling?'.
'Because I didn't lose yet you idiot', a wave of lava almost hit Ray luckily miss him by an inch. Cecilia sigh, in her eyes there's no more spark of viciousness. She rub her temples 'You don't get it do you?'.
Ray struggle to stand up 'Railer be-', Cecilia tap the ground. Mud surrounds Ray trapping him in a shell. 'You better leave or this boy life going to be in jeopardy'.
'I understood!', Railer disappear little by little.
'Hey don't just walk out on me. We need to win. I have my pride to take care off! I can't let flame brain know I lost to a girl'. Cecilia grit her teeth, Ray groan when the shell gets tighter. 'You don't get it do you? Are you blind in any kind? Why are you fighting me!'.
'Duh! I can't lose to you I just can't, my pri-', Cecilia slap his face so hard is echoes through the bough.
Ray is stun, Cecilia walk closer and grab him by the neck, the shell disappears. She slam him to the ground and point her spear. 'Tell me why are you fighting so hard?'.
'Because I can-. Argh!', Cecilia stab his shoulders, she jerk the spear. 'Tell me again!',Ray answer are the same very time she ask. Now his body are weak from the lack of blood. 'Before I stab your heart tell me why are you fighting me?'. Ray lips quiver, he knows the answer he knows it very well but his pride his pride it's-
'Argh!', Ray twitch, he peer over to the orb. He sees June pale as a ghost she is being squeeze by a huge tentacles. A man voice echoes through the orb 'No one will save you now', the man chuckle.
June smirk 'No, they will come. I believe in the because they always fight to protect their friends! To protect their family!', the man scoff. He puck his fingers, electric wave hit June's body making she shrill scream echoes filling the night. The image shifted it shows the image of Zeirra cutting through the tentacles will her Earth armor. She was badly wounded but she keep on going. It change to an image of Layla, she struggling to save her sister. One tentacles stab her arm, she already out of breath not to mention the wounds. Even so she keep on muttering 'I can't give up! Not until June is safe!'.
It change again, Myra and Ash hand by hand tearing, exploding and burning every single tentacles that come. 'We ain't going to lose here. We stand on our two feet. We'll fight until our last breath because protecting our family is Fairy Hunter Legacy! Get out of my way you freaks!', A fiery blazed shot the creature turning it to ash also destroying the orb in the process.
'My, such powers the boy posses. Never mind that, let me finish it here and now!', Cecilia is out of patience. She have better things to do if the boy isn't going to accept his pearl than he don't deserve to live.
'Stop! please, let me live. I beg of you let me live'. Cecilia stops mid way. 'And why should I do that?'.
'Because I need to live for the sake of my friends. I need to live to protect my family!', energy waves shot out of his body. The wave is so strong it shake the earth very core. 'Tch! I guess I lost huh!'.
Ray stand up, all his wounds disappears. He could feel the power surging through him. He aim at Cecilia. 'Execute: Sea storm'. Every single water rises from the ground locking and slamming into Cecilia. Within minute she's on the ground panting. Ray on the other hand fall down, he's too weak to even move his own muscles.
'That was pretty impressive but it's not enough to defeat me', Cecilia stand over him. Ray gasps, he want to attack but in his condition it ain't going to work. Just when he thought his life is wasted Cecilia smile 'You are promising, child. Here let me help you', She twirl her spear, one end glows with with white light the other with black light.
Within minutes his wounds are gone. 'Here, this is you prize. Now go and save your friends'.
'Wait I didn't pay you anything yet!', he screams. Cecilia chuckle I already took it.She hold the bottle tightly to her chest.Until we meet again my dearest. The barrier shatters like a glass revealing his friends struggling to survive.
Ray take a look at his prize. It's a glove with sliver linings. When he put it on, A message rings in his head Now you have the power to control anything that is in a liquid stated. Ray smile 'Now this is going to be easy'.

From a far he could hear someone chanting some magic. He turn around surprise to see the tentacles wriggles without control and suddenly explode covering him with red goop.'what the hell'.
'Sorry I'm late', Ray slap his back.
'Heh! about time you come'. Boht of them grin each other. Now they know exactly what to do.

All the creature disappears.
'Tch! another puppet. They smell us, we need to be more careful', Myra just nod. She's too tired to think anything else. What she really wants is some sleep.
'At least the fiasco is over for now...', is her last words before fainting.
