Fairy Hunter (chance): Chapter 11

Clink!Clank!Booom! the sound of things clinking and clanking shook June awake. June rub her eyes and clean herself before she heads towards the sound source. 'Hey what are you....', In the center of the kitchen Ash slump with huge dough on top of his head, he is covered with flour from head to toe and he have egg yolks for eyes. Ash nervously laugh, 'It's just some mess'.

By some he means a burned sink, half broken counter top, a holed cabinet and a dripping lava from the fridge. You don't want to know where he gets the freaking lava. 'Need some help?'. June help him up, she wipe the egg yolk form his face. Ash groan, he never thought that baking could be such disaster. 

'I just want to bake some cake for Zeirra. She seems so down'. June chuckle, Ash is such a sweat heart. 'I'll help, I don't want you to get blame for all this destruction.' She pluck her fingers, Ash turn wide as everything went back to normal. 'Now, where is the cook book'.

'Hmph! I don't need a freaking cook book to bake. I can bake by myself',he says all high and mighty. June snort, pride much. 'Yeah, by that you mean the total destruction of the kitchen'.

'That was out of hand for a while!', he flail his arms to make his point. 'Yeah, for awhile'. 

'Bring the effin' book already!', she hiss. Ash shudder, he don't want to be on June's dark side. Scratch that, boys you don't want to be on any girls bad side. Be good 'kay! Like a wind he grab the book which he accidentally smother with sugar and milk. 'Here', June gag, 'Thank you', she choked.

'Hey, where  is everybody?'.

'Don't you know? They went underground to investigate the gate.'

'O!'.

'Metal face, are we there yet?'. Ray grunt for the fifth time. They somehow lost inside the tunnel when Zeille suggest a short cut.

Zeille slam their fore head together 'Shut it Wet! We'll get there when I say so!'. Zeirra step behind them, she bang their head downwards hitting the hard rough earth. 'Zeille,you bring us into this mess, then bring us out!', she hiss. Zeille gulp, he push aside the sword from his throat. 'Yeah, this way'.

'Hey, are sure it's safe to go that way?', Velery squeak,

'Yeah why?'. 

'Nothing just asking'. Weird creepy noises, can be heard the minute they step in. Velery shudder when a red eye blink at her, then one after another a red eyed creature starts to pop up. 'Hey Zeille! Are you sure this is the right path?!', she half scream.

Zeille scoff, 'Yea, of course!'. Velery tug his shirt hard 'I don't know, may be because of that!', the points the cave entrance. A large black widow spider hiss at them. 'Down!', Zeille push Velery down when the spider spit acid. Velery blushed, Zeille snap her from her trance. 'Sit here'. he push Velery inside on of the crack in the wall.

'But I-', Velery squeak, Zeille grasp on her tighten. 'I couldn't afford to lose someone important to me ever again!', he half shouted. Velery feel her face flushed at the moment. 'So please, stay still'.

'O-Okay',she stutters.

June flutter each page, she need to find a recipe that's simple but delicious at the same time. 'Aha!', she thumb the ingredients.

                                                     NESTUM CAKE

INGREDIENTS: 250 GRAM OF BUTTER

                            : 200 GRAM CASTOR SUGAR

                            : 230 CAKE FLOUR

                            : 1 TEA SPOON BAKING POWDER

                            : 70 GRAM OF OF NESTUM POWDER 

                            : 50 GRAM OF MILK (WEIRD...GRAM INSTEAD OF ML)

                            : 4 EGGS (GRADE A)

                            : 3 SPOON FEED OF SYRUP

'Did you get all the ingredients Ash?'.

'Yes, umm, can you please help me here', June turn around. Her mouth hang open, 'What are you thinking!', she pull his feet. Unfortunately, Ash is stuck inside one of the under cabinets. At the third attempt she manage to free him. Regrettably, Ash hands her the milk. Ash peer over her shoulder, 

'June can we add some wasabi sauce?'.

'Ash... are you trying to kill people?'. Ash pout, he mumbles about how food taste better with spicy seasoning. June rub her temple, she wonder why her friends didn't wake her up. 'Ash dear, can you please crack the egg'. Reluctantly, Ash grab the egg, hmm.... how should I crack an egg?. Like this maybe. He slammed his fist together with the egg in the center. Splat! June frantically turn around, a heavy sigh escape her mouth.

Ash smile, his hand is covered with eggs so does the rest of the counter top he is working with. June pick a damp clothe, she all the mess away. 'Here let me show you how to do it'. She grab an egg, June gesture Ash to hold it. With her hands around his big calloused palms, she teaches him how to be gentle and loving.

'There, isn't that better? Sometimes you need to be gentle'. June wipe her hands and continues where she left off. 'Now... I need to mix the castor sugar with the butter. Mix them well until they are fluffy', June stir and stir and stir......

After a few minutes....

'ASH!'.

'What the-! Girl! don't scream man. I'm bathing'. June close her eyes, a red hue creep on her face. Her uneven breathing turn harder as Ash step closer. 'So, what all the commotion 'bout?'. He said while scrubbing the excess soap on his torso. 'Could you at least put on a towel!', she half whisper.

'Oh shoot! Sorry', he mumbled. The next minute he came in with a towel. 'What the! Are you some kind of exhibitionist or something?!!'. Ash scoff, 'Hey! you ask me to wear towel. So I wear towel', he debate. June girt her teeth, oh god... 'You know what just forget it. Can you please stir this until it's fluffy'.

'Sure', Ash spin it massive time. The white liquid flung from the bowl splatting to the walls. June groaned, the kitchen are messier that the first time. 'Ash you teddy! quit it!', June hold his hands to stop him;instead she got flung through the counter into the oven. June help herself up, burning anger emits from her eyes.

'Oh it's on!', she crack her knuckles and send a wave of winter through the room. 'Idiot it's cold!', unfortunately Ash ignites his fist, he raise the temperature. Sweats start to pour out, she feel like melting, LITERALLY!. 'You dimwit! Don't raise the temperature!'. She half shout. Ash jump to his feet, his face glitters with happiness. June gulp, she got a feeling this isn't going to be good.

'My pleasure! Raiser!', June slump, she don't know whether Ash plying trick or he is purely deaf but he tick her off, big time. She grab the nearest weapon, half chopped onion. 'Eat this Ash!', one throw was all she need. Ash cringe in pain 'My eyes! My eyes! Oh my freaking eyes!', he crashed into the sink then the soup and lastly the remaining dough inside the bowl.

Velery yawn, 'How long have I been asleep?'. Velery outstretch her arms, she jump. Well, tried to. 'Wait! I'm stuck! I'm stuck!', she call for help for like eternity. A blue slippery liquid trickles down her fore arm. Luckily, the liquid help her arm escape. Desperately, she mud herself with the unknown substances.

'Ah! I'm free.' Just to kill time Velery wanders around the place Zeille stuff her into. unbeknownst to her, the hairy widow is spying for meat. A fresh one in fact. 'Milady, You just eaten a pack of them, must you eat more?', a fly bowed.

'Ahaha, Fliery there an old saying 'Eat till you poop and eat again'', she merrily answer. Fliery sweat dropped 'There's no such word.... you know what just do what you want'.

Both Ash and June sulk in a corner. For two different reasons. 'It's your fault now the cake have your face imprinted in it', June whine. She hoped the cake would be perfect.

'That's okay, we have my beautiful face it in!', Ash laugh. He start doing pose as if someone is taking his picture. Irritated, June kick his back making him slammed into the door.

'That hurt!', Ash engulfed his body in flame.

'I told you not to piss me off! Now you have done it', the temperature rise and plummet drastically. 'Froze: Snow!'.

'Burn; Erosion!'. Two massive powers collide hurting both mages in the process. Ash is a solid man statue meanwhile June is an over burn gingerbread. 'What the hell happened here!',Sara shouted. She and Kira both have a bad intuition this morning.

'You abusive attitude have rub into your descendant Kira! Manage him well please!'.

Kira jerk her head, fuming with anger she bark 'Oh now we are pointing fingers! Hello...... half the kitchen are frozen. Clearly your descendant have piss off my cute ones! You need to control her not me!'.

Veins popped out around Sara's body, she grit her teeth 'Now we are pointing fingers?', she barely hiss. She sounds so dark Ash shivers even though he is frozen.

'Hmph! Let's settle this in the arena! I'll show you! You are barking at the wrong beautiful tree!'. June sweat dropped, she nervously laugh.She hates it when someone bickers because of her. She eyes Ash for help. Ash in the other hand seems amused by the up coming fight. June start to wonder, why didn't he thaw himself up? And what a strong fire resistance his towel are.

'It's on then!', Sara drag June towards the changing room. June shudder, she never wished to be in one of this silly fights! Heck, she hates fights.

'Come on Ash we need to get ready', Kira wrap a rope around his sculpture. 'You are too heavy, I'll cut your diet on meat'. Inside Ash weeps uncontrollably.

'Sara, are you sure we need to wear this', June is a bit perplexed when Sara starts to grab random clothes. June is wearing a white polar bear costume with 'I'M THE CUTEST BEAR' word imprinted in the center.

Sara wave her wooden sword around, 'I have decided we will be cos playing. Who have the most awesome and cute costume wins'. Sara wears the same exact coat as Monkey de Luffy from One piece. She got every detail right from his scars to his attitude. Sara seems too hyped into this fight.

Meanwhile for Ash......  

'Cool! I got to wear this clothing. Ea.... what is this?', Ash raise the black coat like a dope. Kira slap herself, how could she forgot. Her descendant is a fool when it's come to creativity. 'That is one of a kind shirt from the best mage in the world. In my opinion at least'.

Ash eyes the coat again, It is pretty unique how the clothe were made especially the scarf. 'You need to stop watching all those freak shows', he commented. He threw the clothe and plans to exited the room until Kira's staff landed right in front of him.

'Put on the damn clothe', she scowl.

Ash gulps, he feel slightly intimidated, he tries to leave again until Kira place a bargain he can't forget. 'So how is it? A deal or not?'. With hesitation Ash grab Kira's outstretch hand. 'Put on the clothe!', she slams it square into his face.

'I'm fine the way I am thank you!', he dump the clothe again. Kira froze, she grab his hair harshly 'You can't go out there butt-naked you idiot!', she scream so loud Ash thinks he really is deaf for the time being. Kira's eyes glister with predator hunger, she pounce on Ash and struggles to put the clothes on his body.

'There, now you are Natsu Dragneel', she cheered. 'Just act the way you are, the dense,idiot,reckless, bufoon-'.

'I get it!, no need for details'. Ash sigh, he sulks as he waits for his ancestor to finish dressing. After awhile, she exited the room. 'What are you wearing?'. Kira bounce up and down in glee, she clap her hand.

'Can't you tell?', Ash mouthed a no. 'Well, you will find out soon enough. Come on, we are up'. The sounds of bell ringing fill the room. From what he know, Zeimmi (Got drag by Sara), Metal (will die if didn't participate) and Magnet (bored) as judges. He smile, Zeimmi didn't seem so uptight anymore but his stoic attitude is still there.

Ash and Kira step into some kind of railway for fashion show. Ash gulps, he's not a fan for paparazzi and cheering crowds. 'Kira, why is there so many people here?'. He starting to get the stage fright, deal or no deal he didn't sign up for this. Ash want to bail until a warm hand hold his.

'Ash are you okay?'. June eyes him with worry. Ash is stun for a moment, he got to admit, June does look extremely cute in a bear suit.

'I'm okay! No worries!', he chuckle  nervously. Just like a book, she can read him perfectly well. 'It's okay, you just need to be calm and act normal.' The butterflies in his stomach subside a little. But it turns into a tornado when Kira bounce up to them announcing that they are the first pair. Ash hold his chest every time Kira speaks nonstop about the benefits of going first. For him it's a complete natural disaster.

'You'll be okay. Just act natural', June tip toe, she kiss his cheeks and carcass his hand. Ash blush, June presence somehow comfort him.

'PLEASE ENTER THE FIRST PAIR!', Ash let out a big sigh, June squeeze his hand one last time and mutters some encouraging words to his ears. From the corner Sara watch closely at how the scene plays out. 'The change of the story buds this, The forbidden love'. The sword in her hand incinerate into ash when June kiss Ash's cheek.

'Mirai, we have some problem', Max tap the tree. Mirai jump from the top branch. 'Hmmm, what ever is the matter?', he ask with serenity.

'We need to return. They attack the mall in rose choc. I heard they use it as a portal to the netherworld. Fairy Killer have start their first move'.

'Is that so?',he sway back and forth. 'Why isn't the guardian alarmed about this?'. Mirai tap his chin.

Max scoff, to him the answer is so obvious. 'They wouldn't care if the world is ending. Come on, we got a new mission'.

'You boys wants to head out already?'. Max and Mirai stiffen, they didn't expect to see her at this kind of place.

'Can I follow you?', she plays with a dagger in her hand. The boys didn't have a choice but to agree.

After the first competition Sara and Kira's teams ended up with a tie. Unfortunately, the next competition is dancing. 'Argh! No! No! I can't dance.  Yesterday nightmare isn't completely erase!Oh the horror! The tights!', Ash suck his thumb while rolling like a baby on the floor.

'Metal, Magnet and I decided too.....', his voice trail off probably by the scene he sees. Zeimmi clears his throat, 'The next competitors are June and Ash. It seems like the other two judge wants to see humans dancing'.

'We will be grading by appearances, style and sync', Sara beamed, style is her thing. Kira groan, she like to wear T-shirt and sweatpants than to style herself let alone another person. 'Come on Ash, we are puffing you up', she grab his legs.

'Please spare me the horror!',he scream, surprisingly Ash got a real good grip on the floor. He manage to scar it. June gulps, she is pretty lucky that Sara isn't the hyped about clothing. Sara lead June into one of the most humongous wardrobe she had ever seen. Inside thousand of dresses is on display. Sara chuckle, would it be a surprise if she ever said that most of the dresses is hers?.

'June you prefer a baby blue dress and not revealing right?', June blushed, Sara knows every single of her fibers perfectly well.

'Here how about this?', June didn't get the chance to reply when Sara push her into one of the changing room. After awhile she step out, Sara gasp. June looks totally breath taking, did she mention that June have a silver lining trailing her body and glitters surround her.

'Do I look good?', she fondly rub the hem of her dress.

'Are you kidding! You look exactly stunning!', June wears a sleeveless dress with a black buckle belt. She have frills going down kissing the floor. The top color is light shade of blue and darker along the dress. She wears a finger less glove that reach her wrist.

'Come, let me do your hair', it takes Sara awhile to come up with the best hairstyle. She makes half up half down braids, the upper up is flower braid meanwhile the rest of her hair are let loose. She use her fingers to make June side bangs go a little bit curly. She push aside June's bangs and clip it with a diamond studded hair clip. Sara only apply a slight make up for June. Both of them agree on having June to wear a glass slippers.

Meanwhile for Ash....

'Would you stop running away!'. It took Kira half an hour to put his black pants. Another ten minute to put his shirt now she only need to put on the jacket. 'That is it!', she whistle, a metal snake slither into the room and coils itself around Ash. 'I don't want to dance! Come on Kira you understand don't you?'.

'No, I don't. I just want you to dance with this. After that you'll get your bounty'. Ash sigh, he keep reminding himself about the bounty but seriously, he doesn't want to dress up. 'There. Hmm you are pretty handsome', Kira unbutton his collar and straighten his black jacket.

'Come on, your girlfriend is waiting'',Ash blush, he flail his hand senseless while making a point that her assumption is wrong. 'What ever', she mumbles before pushing him into the dancing rink. From the other side June step slowly, Ash could hardly stop himself from drooling. June have become a light he shall never forget.

'Shall we dance?', June giggle, she hold his hand as they waltz around the rink. The song Blue Alley booms through the speaker. Nevertheless, the pair seems to be absorb into a world where only both of them existed. 'I never thought you can look so handsome'.

'Did you feel that?'. Ash pull her closer, he wrap his arm around her body in a protective way. Right on his cue, a giant black widow spider crashes through their rink. 'We can never get a break now can we?', June smile as she froze the spider.

'We are Fairy Hunter!We never have a break', he slash the frozen spider. With a smug on his face he catches June.

'June, Ash..what are you wearing?', Layla heads pop up from one of the spider guts. Ash let June go almost instantly. 'Argh! That hurts you idiot!', one by one their friends pop up from the spider intestine.

'What are you guys doing inside that thing?'. Ray scoff, he brush the blood from his shirt. 'Some dude leads us into the spider chamber. We got eaten by the queen'.

Ash laugh 'Wet pant got eaten! That means I'm way stronger!!!', Ash does a victory dance right on the spot. Ray want to strangle his friend but halt at the last minute. His mouth hang open, June sex appeal stunned every male in their gang.

'The winner for this game is Sara, June, Kira and Ash!', the commentator says. Both the teen jump in glee.

'Mou... I thought I can win this time', Kira pout. A warm hand drape around her shoulder. Sara's face come to view, her face didn't have a scowl but a smile. 'Look there Kira... those kids, they have grown up. The ones that carries our legacy'.

Upon hearing her friends comment she herself can't help but smile. 'Keep walking youngsters. Keep walking towards the future'. Sara hold her friend tighter. 'Those humans have shown us something. I guess a gift will do?'.

Sara slammed her staff, the pressure in the arena especially the rink lessen by the minute. They start floating in the air laughing their heads off. 'Hey! who smells like spider poop?', The moment were ruin from a single question. The arena is in smithereens.

'Hmm, so that's how the fight broke out'. The gangs currently having a get together in the library. 'Oh that's remind me. June can I bring the cake in?'. June eyes brow twitch, she rack her brain for an answer. Then it dawn on her, 'Wait don't-', too late Ash already run to get the so call cake of theirs.

In mere minutes Ash bring in the cake, June start sweating. She peer over his shoulder. A boulder just fell on her when she sees it. The cake look absolutely amazing! Ash's face print somehow disappears. After he present the cake June push him over to a corner.

'How did our cake become so beautiful?', she whisper.

'That's not our cake.. I bought it from the bakery'.

'Oh', was all she could say, but she did hope the cake was theirs.

'By the way, I add some spice to it', Ash smirk.

'You serious?', Ray slammed his fork into the cake.

'Yeah, it seems Ash and June made it', Layla shrug. She is quiet shock to know Ash can bake especially this good.

'Don't complain. Just eat', One bite was all she need to throw a rampage. The rest of them eyes the cake. The supper hot wasabi sauce drip from the center of the cake. The rest of their friends push the plate aside.

'I know ash for brains can't bake', Ray smirk, he gets a front row seat to his friends death.

'You did what!!!',flabbergasted June drag him out of the room before Zeirra can sniff them out.

'Ash!!! June!!!!'. The monster is right on their trail. With her most super speed armor she chases them down the mountain.

'Why me????', June scream on top of her lungs.

Fairy Hunter (chance) : chapter 10 (part 2)

'Zeille!", Myra jump to her side, she is a bit startled when a huge arms are wrapped around her waist. 'Woa, there. I know its quiet weird but please be calm', he sounded scared, worried and angst at the same time. Myra take a deep breath, she decided its for the best if she just get along with the flow. Don't judge a book by its cover that is an important mental note Myra slip into her brain. Zeille may seems big and scary but he is a well trained mannered man, to put simply he's a charming man when its comes to being a gentleman.

He pulls the seat for Myra, 'Woman first', he bow a little and pushed the seat back to the table after Myra have taken her seat. 'Hmm, I gotta say, that's pretty gentlemanly of you', Zeille gruff as he takes his seat. a few minutes of awkwardness embrace both of them, 'Um.. I-;, Zeille scratch the back of his neck. The silence is so uncomfortable. 'The food is here', waiters place their order.

'What the? When did you order?'. Myra giggle, Zeille is very indeed cute when he is dumbstruck. 'The table knows what we wants just by us sitting on it. The waiter didn't need to come to us for food. They simply knows what to cook', she flash Zeille the best smile she got.

Zeille blushed in embarrassment, he grab the utensils to start eating. Neither of those two spoken a words since the flavor reach their mouth.

'What are you doing Ash! Don't freak me out like that', Ash smirk, he didn't mean to offend the girl. 'Sorry, I guess I was too distracted I forgot I came here with you', June huff, she crosses her arms. Ash stomach lurch when he help the girl up. June sigh, she never thought going out shopping with an Ash is this tiring. 'Come on, its lunch time', Ash jump happily at the mention of food. '

He tap his chin, 'Hmm, June after we eat how about you and me go to the play about..... that guy and that girl who is in love or something'.

'You mean Romeo and Juliet', she corrected. Ash smile, he put his hands behinds his head as he ponders for a minute more. 'What do you think? Is it a date?'. June abruptly stop in her tracks. Is my ears playing tricks on me? A boy asked me to a date??? A freaking date!!! 'June are you okay?', Ash step closer. Smokes starts to comes out from her ears as her face redden by the minute. Totally oblivious by his action he cupped her cheek and bring it closer to his face.

'What do you think you are doing?', June stomp his feet. Ash shriek in pain, he hold his feet with a tear at the corner of his eye. 'You didn't look well', he simply said before letting out a loud snort and stomp his way towards the nearest food court. June crestfallen, she never intended to hurt the poor boy. Subconsciously, she linked and arm with him. Ash gives her a warily look.

She wink 'We are on a date, its normal to hold hand you know'. The flushed Ash nod slightly, he is too light headed to say a word.

Both the mages stop in front of a theater. they are tired from the constantly window shopping. Everything could have been great if Zeirra didn't threw a rampage inside three different bakeries in one day. Guess, what makes her mad? Yes, she scold the management for not having a super duper chocolate black forest muffin.

Mirai hold his chest, it feels like his lungs is going to burst out. He is planning to continue their shopping when a drooling Zeirra tug his shirt. 'What is the matter?'. Zeirra points to the poster they were leaning on. 'Super Duper Chocolate Black Forest Muffins in stock for those who can perform an act of Sugary Woogary Plum pimple Sugar Princess'.

Sparkling with anticipation, she haul Mirai by his collar. 'I want that!', Zeirra start to jump up and down like a hyped kid. 'Sure thing. but we need at least four people to enter', he try to calm the probably sugar rushed girl. Right on cue, June greet the other two pair.

'Hai Mirai, Zeirra! are you two planning to watch the show? If you are, we could go on a double date?'. Zeirra could feel her eyes falling out of their sockets. She can't stand seeing her friend dating the wrong guy (*cough*her stupid fangirlisms*cough*). 'Not quiet, I wonder if you two want to joint us for this', she push the poster up their faces.

'The reward does seems nice', June look at Ash for a moment before nodding. She failed to see how her brother is against the idea. 'I guess. We didn't have anything better to do anyway'. Mirai faint upon hearing the answer. Zeirra drag Mirai by feet as she storm inside the auditorium. 'Yes, yes, yes', she chant a mantra and fist pumped the air around her. June chuckle, she want to refuse but Zeirra is so eager she didn't have the heart to refuse.

'Ya'know I didn't expect you to accept her offer'.

'Well, let just do what we need to do'. Ash sigh, the day just got tiring more and more by the minute.

'Do you want to go to a cafe?', Max grunt. His question sounded more of a command than a question. 'Hmm, what about we go to the theater? I heard there is an exclusive play that mages participate'. Max huff at the suggestion. 'Was it not good?', Velery sob.

'N-No, I guess we can buy some food on the way there', Velery squeal, she never been to a play before. This is her first one. Max smile, Velery actions are so cute. Just to be clear, he have a soft spot for cute things. Velery hum and twirl all the way towards the food court. 'We'll take and go, Velery. Do you want something to eat?', Velery is shocked to see his voice soften. She tip toed, she couldn't see the menu.

She sigh, she is just too short to see anything. Max shakes his head, he grab her waist. 'Wait! What are you doing?'.

'Pick what you want to eat', Velery reply with an 'O'. Max blushed, people keeps on staring and cooed at them. Some of the girls are giving him a flirtatious eye bat. Velery tap his shoulder. Max groan,'What do you want?'.

'Umm, can you please put me down? You carries me all the way from the food court'. A red hue is visible on his face. 'Sorry', he mumble. Velery almost touch the ground when a pair of hands jerks Max's body making her slam straight into his chest. 'Max! we need you! the play needs two more actors. Please oh please help us', Mirai display the cutest puppy eye he could do. Max groan and  punch his friend's face so hard he lose his two front teeth.

'Thank you'.Mirai gives a thumbs up before fainting in front of the entrance. 'Don't you think we need to bring him along?', Max grab Mirai by his ankle and sling the poor guy over his shoulders like a sling bag. A lady in about her fifties lead them to a backstage door behind the theater. The lady mouthed 'Good luck' before giving the three of them a little bow.

The inside are a mess. Zeirra looks like a rainbow boa monster, Ash stand in the center like a huge disco ball, June on the other hand is mesmerizing the script which is normal stand aside she is sharpening her swords while reading. Velery sweat dropped, her friends can be idiots worse that monkeys when it comes to creative things.

'A-Ano, do you guys need help?', Velery ask with a poker face. All eyes we re glued to her. 'Velery!', Velery takes a step back when her friends grab her. 'This play going to be a disaster we will never get those super duper muffins', Zeirra whine. Velery face paled, did any of her friends knows today's pa;y will be broadcast through the country?.

'Well, let me see the play', Velery reads every script as as fast as she could. In ten minutes she sigh. 'This story is simple but there are many lines not to mention stupid. Nevertheless, show me the main protagonist costume'. Zeirra gladly lead the petite girl to a secret room where she have been hiding her clothes. It takes a while for Velery to chose. 'Here, this is perfect. It suits the character very well'.

'B-But Velery-san, that dress is barely wearable by any of the girls. Only guys can wear it'.

'A really big guy', Ash butts in.

'Zeirra, where the heck did you get this from?'.

'The orge's'. Velery sigh yet again, this is hopeless. 'We need to do cross dressing then.' Velery tip toed towards Max. She use the best adorable face and voice she got. 'Umm, Max-san do you mind playing the main role', Max spit his drink. He eyes Velery in disbelief. No way in hell I'm wearing that. 'No nu-uh! Get that freaky clothes offa me!', he scramble his way towards the exit.

He was inches way from the knob, a rope slither it's way towards him. 'We'll do it by force then', Zeirra have a dark aura around her, she pulls the sword June was sharpening. Max try to pry off but a sudden pain blocked him him out for good.

Both the demon and giant exited the fancy cafe. 'Where would you like to go? Demon-lady'. They keep on walking without a destination. Another embarrassing yet awkward moment embrace them. 'I have been wondering. Why didn't you flip when I call you Demon-lady?'.

Nonchalantly Myra answer 'Because it is what I am. I don't mind but if you please. Don't call me that in front of public or else', the last sentence barely pass her mouth when a dark aura form around her. Zeille nod nervously, he bend down to pick a paper. 'Hmm, do you want to see this stuff', Myra eyes the poster. She reluctantly nod.

'I guess'.

'Wait! Who told you to do this!', Max struggle helplessly. He is strapped to a metal chair. '****,YOU ALL'. He roared. For such language he got the beating of his life time. 'There are pure souls here', Velery uncovers her hand from Ash's ears. 'What was that for?'. Velery shrug it off saying it was nothing.

'More importantly, how come I need to wear thighs?! Worse It's pink!'. Ash try to rip off his short but it was futile as the clothe was made from 'BTW! Why do you have gum as fabrics for this?!!', sure it was fun to laugh at Max, when he himself is involved it doesn't feel right anymore.

'You were covered by glitter in the first place. Luckily, we have the part for that. Miana, the glitter dancing fairy', Velery reason. Ash face turn pale instantly 'You-you, expecting me to dance?!'. Weakly Velery nod, Ash throw a slight tantrum by slight it means he burned half of Zeirra's clothes. Just for the occasion Zeirra brought out a fire chain, she tie the boy legs and arms together making him look like a chicken that was about to be cooked.

'L-let's get going. June will be the damsel in distress. Mirai will be the prince. I'll be directing Zierra will be-uh', Velery gulps, she couldn't bring herself to say it. Zeirra eyes twinkle, was she getting a great role Velery didn't dare to tell the others?. 'Well, you will be the joker'. She said with fear in her voice.

Zeirra stood there paled and stumped. I-I got the worse part possible. She walks like a zombie towards her closet. Velery bite her lips, will this ever worked. Well, it is her friends. Anything could go wrong when they are around.

THREE HOURS LATER.....

Velery grip on the curtain tighten when more audience start to come in. 'Calm down, it will go fine', a soft huff voice commented. She turn around, there stood max with a baby blue dress with ruffles on top, he have a golden white belt tie around her waist, golden shoes and embroider with a heart shape ruby. Velery tries her hardest to not laugh 'Y-You looked great', she choked,

'Haha, laugh all you want. The stage is setting', right on cue the light dimmed around the stage. The first act started. Zeirra comes out, she look like a weird yellow and red striped grape. She crab her way towards the center stage.

'I the great Farty,here by call upon my servant Miana to dance upon this land so fart berries can grow and do their duty....', the song Dance of the sugar Fairy start and Ash waltz towards the center. Velery rub her temples 'Does that thigh makes his butt look big?'.

Max slap his face,'Ya- think?'. Just to be clear Ash behinds look like two watermelon stuffed into a tiny pockets. 'Oh tehee, May this land bless with great smell.' Zeirra face turn green'Oh My GWAD! Thia stench it's killing me!', she roll back and forth like a ball being kick.

'Whoa, she is a really good actress', Velery start having hope until Max jump into the scene. 'Wake up! Wake up!', the scene shows a man lady squishing a grape like human to life. 'You are ruining the scene', the audience is shocked to see the prince tugging the grape woman aside.

'THY SHALL BE THOU'S LOVER',Mirai sparkle, he no idea what he just said.

'I- uh... Let see. Hmm the wasn't anything in the script like this', Ash shrug, hmm a kiss in the hand would do. He reach out to grab his friends palm.Mirai pull the soft limp figure in his embrace. 'Thy shan't run for Thou are Thee lovers for farternity!', Mirai inhaled the heaven like smell. His nostrils burn when the smell of rotten fish mixed with human sweats pierce his nose.

'My oh My! You should soaked in Flower of springs my dear. Nevertheless I shall kiss you'. Ash is freaked out, out of safety he lighted his fist. 'Fire punch!'. Mirai topple down as smokes raise from his face. 'Damn you', Mirai summon his minions. 'Seize the dancing man lady in tutu'.

'Oh it's on!', in the end Ash's pants get burned off leaving him with his love shaped underwear with intitials 'Ash love Love' engrave at the back right on top of his rump. Totally have no sense of dignity he ripped his shirt. Velery could feel her world crumble, to make matter worse Zeirra equipped her elemental Hammer.

'Earthquake!', she meant to hit Ash instead she hit Max right on the head.

'That's it!', Max ripped the bottom of his dress. 'Lightning pillars!', both Mirai and Ash are electrocuted to the bones. 'I shall bring you down!', Zeirra said triumphantly. This shall be scene where I will shine.

Crabbing her way she struck the boys feet making him shout in agony. Then she kick his sensitive spot making him cry and poop on the stage. 'I-I-I', Zeirra couldn't continue, the foul smell is taking toll on her. She collapse to the ground with last words 'I-I won'.

Velery collapse to the ground, her play is going into the drain. That's when she takes desperate measure. Out of nowhere, a sandwich cheese come dancing around. 'Oh! We won! Yes We won! Mr. Farty I shall remember your sacrifice'.

GOOD JOB SPOILING THE STORY GENIUS! Just like she thought, the audience step up and exited the auditorium with frowny faces.

'Both Velery and Zeirra return to their respective room in glum. They had never been into worst day than this.

'Why is everybody so glum?', Little did Layla knows, her friends have been through the most chaotic dances around.

Velery spare her an undignify look 'Ash the dancing sandwich!', she bark before slamming the her bedroom door.

Fairy Hunter (chance): chapter 10 (part 1)

'Wahh! It have been so long since we step foot in this town!', Layla jump around in glee. The smell of chocolate and roses pierce her nose the moment she step in. June chuckle, even though Layla is the second oldest, she act as if she is the youngest.

'Huh? Why aren't any of the guys here?', June look around, she can't see a single soul of her friend anywhere. 'Yo!', a happy voice greet her. Ash is wearing a casual blue T-shirt with orange jacket, baggy pants and red plus white sneakers. His muffler flailing behind him.

'You look happy', Ash smile. Zeirra fake cough, to gain their attention. She instructed them to disperse into groups. After awhile, the pair have been decided.

Layla and Ray.

Ash and June.

Velery and Zeille

Myra and Zeirra.

Max and Mirai.

Velery eyes turns wide when she sees the list. 'Wait up! Why am I stuck with that Metal jerk face?', her face turns red in anger. Zeille didn't really mind, he can tease the girl a whole day. What a heaven to him. Zeirra death glare Velery. After a brief death scene Velery agrees to go with Zeille.

'Poor Vel-chan,' Layla sigh. She and Ray was planning to go to the carnival. She is pretty excited because this is her first time. She skipped the whole way just to show everybody how excited she is.

'Layla, you need to slow down', Ray chuckle. To him its like a lucky break getting to spend time with the girl you like. Actually he himself never knows when or why exactly he was attracted to the girl in front of him. He feels like he need to protect her in every way he could. And from Myra's judgement she said it was love. Being a dense idiot Ray is he believes every single words Myra told him.

'Ash, do you want something to eat?', June stood still. She just realised that all the way she was just talking to herself. Ash seems lost him his own thought. Sneaking behind him she planned to scare the hell outta him but she stopped when one tear drop into his shirt.

'Ash, what is the matter?', Ash jump at her sudden question. He quickly, wipe his tear away. 'Nothing', he solemnly answer. June stare off out to the sea. Sometimes she wondered, was there any use someone lie to her. Was she not trustable.

'June, come on. You said you want to go to the library', Ash tug the hem of her skirt. 'Yeah, this way', out of the blue, snow starts to fall down. Instantly all the guild members stare up into the sky. Ray knows what is happening. 'I swear if that block head made her cry I'm gonna kill him', he mumbles.

'Zeirra, do you think something is wrong?', Myra silently let the snow fall and evaporates in her palm. 'Who knows,' Zeirra is exceptionally edgy this morning. Myra realise that the moment they start to go shopping.

'Do you want to spent times with Mirai. You know to settle an old score.' She tries to pry the knight's heart. Zeirra replies with a broken hearted smile. 'I don't understand what you are talking about'.

Myra frown, was her plan a fluke?. She rummages through her purse. A blue orb is in her hand, with one command, she manage to see how her other friends are doing. A long and sad sigh escape her lips. 'Can't they be happy for one moment?', she question herself.

'Come on Zeirra, I think we need to head home', Myra sigh yet again, without looking she link her arm with Zierra's and drag her towards a couple restraunt. 'You know, you need to be more resolute about your feelings', she paid the cashier for their table which she purposely choose a private one.

'Here the number for your table. Have a nice date', the cashier cooed. Date? Hmmm, I never consider being out with girl friend as a date. Myra tighten her grip, she feel weirded. 'Hahaha, Zeirra you need to stop those work outs. Your arm feels like it was a boy's arm.'

'That's because I am a boy', a gruff voice answered. Myra flutter her eyes open, shakily she turn around. 'EAHHHHH!'.

'Where did Myra go?', Zeirra loiter around the mall for hours but her friend is nowhere to be seen. 'Shoot! I'm lost', she tries to get directions but everytime she does it all seems complicated. The maps didn't help either. 'Gyah!!! Why do malls so big', she tear her pink hair in frustration.

She crouch down in defeat, 'A swords woman defeated by the hands of a mall', she groan. Zeirra turn around when she feel a soft tap on her shoulder. 'Lost?'. His smile makes her heart skipped a thousand beat.

'Y-Yeah', she slowly nod her head. He chuckle in response, 'So do I, how about the two of us wonders around for a little bit. Maybe we can find an exit somewhere', he outstretched his hand. Zeirra gulps at the offer, she curses under her breath when her hearts beats faster. A red hue, already decorated her face the moment he stares into her eyes.

'That's fine, I can walk behind you. There's no need for you to hold my hand'. Zeirra averted her gaze, as he drew closer. Their faces are inches apart when he whispers something that killed her on the spot.

He help her up and intertwine their fingers. 'This will prevent us from being apart ever again', he smile and pulls her to who knows where.

'Hmm, this book seems nice right Ash?', June drop her book. Her partner just went missing. She look from aisle to aisle. She halt to catch her breath. She had been running for half an hour, a glimpse of a man caught her attention.

She start chasing the figure. After three sections she encase the man in a hug. 'Woa there, what do you think you are doing', June jerk her head upwards. That doesn't sound like Ash but he does sound familiar. June jaw dropped in disbelief.

He smirk and pat her head, 'What are you doing in a huge mall like this?'.

'Oh my', Velery stood in the center of the mall bewildered. She sweatdropped, she frantically search for Zeille. Velery, try her hardest to keep calm. The last time she was with Zeille is when they heard a scream. The rest was a total blank because Zeille went missing when she was awe struck by the mini figurines at a nearby stall.

'Hey, do you want some help?', Velery eyes went wide like a dining plate. Of all the people she could have meet. He was the one. God...save me.

Fairy Hunter: Chapter 9 (Chance)

The gang steps into the arena with scared heart. They all know how reckless Ash can be but this time he really did call for his death. 'Is he going to use that tavern again Sara?'.

Sara nod, she instructed the rest of her guardians to brings their descendants inside the training ground. There are mutters about who will win and who will lose. Apperantly, Ash have the most bet for the human part and Zeimmi got the most for the guardians.

'Ash is at loss if he fight here', Ray mutters slowly.

'Why?', now Layla is anxious about her friend well being.

'Well, for a fact he is a fire mage. In contrary fighting within a cold zone will give him some disadvantages. To replenish his power Ash needs to absorb heat other than his own. But in this case he is fighting that guy in that guy's territory. If he isn't careful in controlling his power he might end up losing them in minutes.'

Layla gulp, upon hearing the fact. This time all of them are invited to watch the amazing fight between a human and a guardian. The rest of Layla's friends wears a coat except for her. For some reason, Layla's body didn't tremble or shook in coldness. She feel extremely warm.

A bell rang wildly, shooking the tavern. In the center stood Zeimmi, calm and collected. His gesture shows pretty well that he is underestimating his opponent. Then, Ash enters the arena with an overconfident smug on his face.

'I'm gonna kick your ass big time!', he engulfed his body aflame, rising the temperature in tavern thus making it a bit hotter. Zeimmi sit cross legged with his eyes shut, not the least intimidated by the sudden rise of temperature.

'Freeze', one chant and the tavern revert to its original condition. Flabbergasted, Ash grit his teeth. 'I still have more to serve!', he try to puch Zeimmi but Zeimmi is too quick. Before he knows it Zeimmi sent him flying towards the wall.

'You dare to call yourself a mage with that kind of power'. Ash scoff, he stand up and brush the dirt of his body. That little smug of his never left his face. 'With this little power will you be beaten'.

Zeimmi clench his fists. 'Die!', he charge at last. Nevertheless, Ash return the favor by slamming him into the ground. The sounds of bones cracking echoes, 'Fire blaze!', his palm shines brightly. Giant fireballs start to shoot out hitting Zeimmi square on the back.

Everyone are cheering, Layla too is happy about her partner guarantee victory until Ray shouts something that crushed the hopes of every human inside the tavern.

'He's screwing with you Ash for brain! Your magic will deplete soon. Kick his ass now!', Ray's voice sounds stren but with a tint of worry. Beneath the cracking ice, a smile flashes through. 'Star pulse!', the ice floor crack, dragging Ash too fall along side the caster. Using this chance, Zeimmi wriggles free, another wave of attack hit Ash's body.

'You! You killed my sister', Zeimmi charged and summon a big star like saucer. Ash barely dodge it with a scratch on his left arm. 'The hell! I don't even know you! How come I killed your sister', Ash snap.

'Shut up!', Zeimmi sounds like a psycho. His bangs covers his eyes, with a psychopath smirk decorating his face, he summon another three of the saucer. 'I'll make you feel! I'll make you feel how painful it is to die!'.

Ash struggle to move but he can't. his feet are nailed to the ground. He grunt in frustration. Last time he barely dodge, this time if it hits, he's a goner for sure. 'I got no choice then', once again he raise the temperature.

This time higher than usual, within minutes the saucer melts into puddles of water. Ash smile victoriously 'Fire dragon secret : magma field'. Layla gulps, the floor is boiling hot. On top of that this spell is melting everything insight. 'This time for sure Ash going to win', June beam happily.

'Not exactly', Zeirra said, breaking the happy moment. Crossing her arms she is mortified to see Ash this desperate to use such magic eater. 'Tsking' she bit her bottom lip. 'That guy is a total demon'.

Ray grip on the ice tighten, Shoot! Ash brain fall right into his trap. He is wrapped around that bastard fingers. Layla anxiously continues watching, she have a bad feeling as if something omnious is about to happen.

Zeimmi chuckle, 'How naive', he hiss.

'Hey! Look who's talking. I destroyed your little playground if you didn't notice'. An evil laugh crackles through the tavern. 'Do you really think my true power is ice?'. Ash scratch his chin, dumbstruck by Zeimmi's statement.

'Let me show you what my true power is', he dash and touch Ash abdomen.'Star gazer: inside crush'. Sara jump from her seat, shell shocked by what Zeimmi had done. 'Have you gone insane!', she shouted, mad and scared altogether. 'You're going to kill him!'.

Sara sudden outburst send a wave of shocked through the tavern. Petrified Zeirra command the battle to be cancel right at the moment. 'Wait!', Ash meekly state. His body shaking wildly as he force himself to get up. Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Ash laugh. 'That attack is powerful. My body is aching all over.' Cracking his knuckles, Ash ready himself for the next attack 'Fire waves'. The attack stops midway. Ash eyes turns wide than a dining plate. Sweat drop from his temples along with tears.

'Hey, what is that girl doing in the middle of a fight?', Layla huffed. Layla eyes her friends when she didn't get a response. Zeirra, Ray and Myra faces all are tear stained when the girl open her eyes.

'Oh my...., Star', Zeirra breath. Layla jerk her head towards the girl, is she the rumored girl that manage to melt Ash's heart? She look exactly like me. But with a much shorter hair.

'Star', Ash staggers to keep his fighting pose. 'Ash-kun, its enough. Don't fight anymore. I'm here aren't I?'. Star step closer. She embrace Ash. 'After years, I finally gets to see you'.

Ash can hardly breath, his legs are jellyfied. Happiness rush over. 'Give up now, let's go home together', Star face him. Layla grit her teeth, that girl...

'Ash she is tricking you. She isn't Star! Star wouldn't stop you from fighting for justice! Open your eyes', Layla gulp, she never thought this words will left her mouth. 'Star is dead! You need to accept that! Seeing you like this will only make her soul suffer! Stand up! Fight for what you believe in!'.

Ash jerk his head towards Layla, she shines so bright all his sadness went away. Suddenly, Layla place is shifted, 'Stand up Ash. I don't wanna see you like this. Your are stronger than this. Realease it. Say Realease: Dark fire mode'.

A gust of wind hit his face and the image of Layla return. Sorry for making you worry, Star. Watch me, I'll get stronger. That's my promise. Ash slash the figure in front of him.

'You really got me there.' Zeimmi step back a little. Ash turns to flash Layla a smile 'Thanks Layla'.

Layla beamed with happiness, now she can calm a bit. 'Ash!', once again Ash look at her direction. Layla thump her chest with her fist three times. 'I believe in you', she wink. Ash stiffle a laugh, 'Sheesh, that girl.' Now he can start being serious.

'Are you really Star's brother?'. Zeimmi draw his staff. 'If I am it doesn't concern you!'. Ash sigh, he brush his hair a few times 'You and her are nothing alike. Your soul are tainted will darkness, a darkness you can't control'.

'Bastard! Don't you dare compare me with your lowly human life!', something black shoots out of Zeimmi's feet. Ash 'tsk', he frantically look around. The aura have a deadly stench to it. Then he notices something but it was too late.

Sara eyebrows twitched, she is hoping Zeimmi wouldn't go this berserk. At last she stand corrected. Hang in there, Ash. She didn't stop praying for the boy safety.

'Star-chan?', Star jumped when a cold hand touch her shoulder. 'Are you okay?', her friend flash a worried look. She shakes her head slowly. 'I'm fine, its just I finally get to see somebody important to me'.

'Is that so?', Star nod, she brush her uniform and glance over the school rooftop once again. I'm glad you found my replacement Ash.

'Nee.. Star-chan, do you know that new kid Layla frostbite'.

'Yeah, what about her?'. Her friend friend fidget for a moment before she continues. 'She disappears along with Clarice'.

'Is that so'. Shocked by her reaction Star's friend hug her from behind. They almost fall if Star didn't grip the banister in time. 'Aren't you the least bit interested especially when that smoking hot orange hair boy crashed into the school gym'.

Star pull, a painful smile 'You better don't touch that boy, he's taken', Star sternly stated. 'Eahhh! What a shame'. The rest of the day is continue as if the interdimensional telepathy never happened.

'Bastard! Show yourself!', Ash keeps on punching and kicking but he's getting nowhere. Moreover the smoke sucks his magic power immensely, he couldn't even use fire breath in his condition. 'Shoot! Show yourself!'.

Layla grip on her hand tighten, she never sees Ash this clueless before. Usually, he always finds a solution to every problem. 'This is bad', Ray spit. His expression is way worse, he looks stress level five.

'If he don't kill that bastard Zeimmi, he'll lose because of lack of power.'

'No way! Is there nothing we can do?'. Ray bit his thumb 'If he eats something hot, maybe he can pull himself out of this jam.'

Layla grip her collar, 'Really, will that do?'.

'Theoretically, if his powers are replenish, he might have the upper chance to win.'

Without much thought, Layla rip her collar apart, shivering she made her way towards her sister. 'June, can you use isis as an arrow and bow?'.

'Yes, why do you ask?'.

'Can I borrow it?'. June is weirded by her sister sudden outburst, but she let her use it anyway. Quickly, Layla run towards the perfect place to shoot her arrow.

'Hey Ash eat up!', the arrow is set ablaze the minute she tie the collar. Ash turn towards the voice. There is a glint of light hovering towards him. He smile, when he sees the fiery arrow. 'Looks like I owe you twice Layla. Thanks for the food'.

This time the fire spread faster and thicker. The fire he made burned the smoke leaving Zeimmi alone in the center. Pumping his fist Ash release his new mode. Black start to mix with his red,orange and yellow fire. On top of that his body is occupied with black steel gloves, black armor chest plate and a helmet. Knowing Ash he rip half the thing off and reshape it into a twin edge sword. One have fire engulfing it another have a black fire around it.

'Could it be? You have evolved?', Layla could see the glint of terror in Zeimmi eyes as Ash step closer. 'I have zero idea what happened but what I know. Now I'm a demonic fire dragon tamer', Ash flash his canines as a proof of his words.

Zeimmi scowl, that was the power his mother lost. Mother's power was given to a mere human. The power of his mother's was bestowed upon a child that have no idea on how to control over it. Shaking all his fears away he aimed at Ash's chest once again.

This time, Ash manage to dodge. 'Don't make me laugh. You think I'm going.to fall for the same trick?'. Zeimmi grit his teeth, angered by Ash words he thrust for his opponent legs. Certainly pinning him to the ground will give him a better chance at hitting Ash.

Unfortunately, his works are in vain for the fire breathing maniac melt his staff before he could even move a muscle. A hard blows hit his face sending him flying through the tavern walls.

Ash casually walks towards Zeimmi with his sword behind him, melting the earth crust. 'I don't wanna insult you but. You are a worthless price of trash compare to your sister. You angered me. Now it's time for your punishment!'.

The swords glows radiant sending a massive wave of heat everywhere. 'Fire dragon demon slash!', one hit is all he need to bring victory to his friends. Sighing, Ash scratch his cheeks in guilty. 'Maybe, I have gone too far', he mutters.

A monster he is, Ash still have some empathy in him. He helped the poor beaten up guy towards the medical team. 'You could have at least spare him', Layla playfully slap his swollen shoulder.

Grunting he rub his shoulder 'It ain't my fault he piss me off', Ash bark. The rest of his friends burst into laughter at the two pair stupid jokes. They all are happy that Ash manage to win safe and in one piece.

'What didn't you end me human?', Zeimmi lose balance when he ask the question. Luckily, Sara is by his side to help him up. Ash shrug for a while, a goofy smirk plastered all over his face. 'I'm not that cold hearted ya' know. By the way Star will toture my soul in the afterlife if she ever finds out I kick her brother ass.'

For like enternity, Zeimmi gifted Ash a smile. A true sincere smile. 'Well, then. You have exceeded my expectations. Here you received it', the flame like pearl drop into Ash's plam.

'Oh before I forgot!', he play with the pearl a little and a red clothe appear. 'Layla give me your Persia', blushing hard Layla obligate.

'Here, I mend it for you. Since you broke the old one'. Layla face gleamed, she never know how to express her gratitude towards her one special friend. He had done so much in her favor. 'C'mere let me put it on you', this time her face didn't fall for the same shade of red.

She manage to control her heart by reminding herself that Ash's heart belongs to Star. Somewhere deep down, Layla knows she have met the girl. She couldn't exactly put it where but she knows she already met her. Liam raise his hand, after gaining everybody's attention he told the humans about their outing for tomorrow.

Magnet put down his weapon, the same silhouette lingers in his room disturbing his thoughts. Once again, the silhouette reveals it's body. 'So that's what they have been planning all along huh?'.

The girl takes a seat with cross legged in Magnet living room. 'Have you ever heard of personal space', he joked while handing out the hot cocoa. After a few sip, she have this mysterious glint in her auburn eyes. 'Nice job, bringing Star's soul here Magnet.'

Magnet slam the cup on the table, his hand is still trembling everytime he remembers the stunt he pulls. 'Promise me you will never speak that matter ever again'.

The girl nod in agreement. 'If their point is disturb the barrier between worlds. Why did they force June on taking her dark future?', the girl rub her aching head.

'I don't know for certain myself but what's for sure we need to keep our eyes opens. Those brats from Fairy Hunter finally manages to find a way to open the portal', Magnet swish the curtain and peek on the couple.

'That dragons have bonds deeper than any human. They are like inseparable.'

'That's what you get for hybrids', the girl flash a scowl before she disappears into the shadows.

Ash close his eyes as the cold night winds batters against his skin. I can feel her presence. She was there. Star.. Are you still alive?

'So this is where you have been', Ash opens his eyes only to see his friend smiling at him. She takes a seat right next time him. Layla fold her knee and bring them close to her chest as she wraps them with her arms.

'Ash', Layla voice sounds sad and painful. Ash glance over to his partner, tear stain her face as she utters a question that has burdening her for a while. 'Am I just a replacement for Star? Do you hang around me because I look like her and act like her?', Ash gulp down. Some of her words are proven true.

'Yeah', Layla buried her head deeper into her knees. She don't want Ash to confess out of guilty. She wants the truth. The whole truth about his feelings towards her.

'Yeah, originally I took you in because I think you'll be Star. With you by my side I feel as if she is watching me. I never really consider your existence until...'.

'Until...?', Layla raise her face slightly only to show her two orbs staring at Ash well built figure. He turn around into one side and flash her his goofy smile. 'Until...., that good for nothing water pants took you away from me', he sounded angry.

'Ash, I'm the one who insist he accompany me on that mission'. Sha hoped that Ash wouldn't break into one of his silly fights anymore. 'So what! He steals my partner. MINE', Ash made an imaginary stamp in front of Layla's face. She giggles, Ash can be mature when he wants and childish absent-mindedly.

'Oh come on, its not like you are there all the time. I need to go on missions too. Plus I like taking them continuously.'

Ash groan, he knows Layla is good at being persuasive prat. 'Fine, but don't want you going with water pant alone. At least take June with ya' she can help you handle the dumbass'.

Layla slap his face 'No curses please'. That night a promise are made between two friends. What they didn't realise is they had been stalked from square one of their conversation.

'Eahhh! Ash made a possessive moves', Myra squel in a hushed tone. June and Zeirra decided to accompany her since they to are interested in the couple relationship.

'Nee-san is growing up', June wipe the animated tears on her eyes. Zeirra couldn't stop nodding and mumbling about how Ash have grown these past year.

'Hey what are you girls doing sneaking up on Blondie and fire breath', June pull Zeille to the ground and hushed him. 'Zeille, don't you think those two are perfect for each other?', she giddily stated. Before Zeille could reply another voice answered for him.

'They are just friends who are just looking out for each other,' all four of them jump with fright when they see Ash behind them. Layla by his and she is blushing beet red.

'What the hell, were you guys thinking! Sneaking up on us like that!', he sounds angry but cool down when he sees Zeirra with them.

'Well, we couldn't let Layla go down here alone. You might do something dirty to her', Myra cooed innocently. Ash face turn bright red. So red it can glimmers under the night time sky.

'Why, you!', before he could do anything Zeirra drag him by his scarf towards the boys infirmary room. The girls giggles at the sight, Zeille pout. He never likes to be dragged into someone lovey dovey mess. Well, Fire head is another story, he mentally remind himself.

Layla is showered with bullets of question on her way back to their room. She took one last glance at the boys infirmary room before heading for bed.
I can't wait for tomorrow.

Fairy Hunter (idol): chapter 3

'Are you okay?', June sit next to the soaking boy. His eyes are droopy probably tired from the instant water play. 'Please... Can you tell me what is the matter?'.

Ash sulk, he keeps on playing with the sand scribblings words that people could hardly understand. 'Come on tell me already!', this time June shout so loud the cliff shook.

'Nothing, it doesn't matter anyway', that just blow the fuse. As much of a patience person she is Ash childish attitude really makes her mad. 'Ha.. Look around you, you make a sculpture of my sister face with a hotdog body. There are more, such as my sister face with the body shape of a sandwich. If you didn't say that is bothering than I don't know what is'.

Sighing Ash tells June exactly what had happened. 'I accidentally burnt her drawing of Ray. After that she never speaks to me.' Ash become more depressed with purple aura surrounds him.

'Then, how about you make her a song.'

'What for?', June face palm. She hates it when Ash start to get slow. 'The singing competition is coming up. You could use that chance to say sorry,' June state matter of factly.

'But I don't know how to write a song', June smile, she brings out a pad, a pen and an eraser. 'I can assist you on that matter'. Ash smile widely, because of June his spirit has been lift up.

Zeirra close her eyes, she bangs the drum making noises that makes people deaf. 'Hey, that isn't the right way to play it', a strong arm grabs her plams before another deathly notes are release.

Mirai smile, he sits in front of her. 'Do you even know how to play the drum?'. Zeirra sigh, she shakes her head. 'Then, you don't mind me being your teacher now would you?'.

'Huh?', Mirai wink, Zeirra listen closely as Mirai play a song. She could see the melody floating in front of her. Engulfing her in a never ending Fairy tale. A foliage of notes dance around with trails of roses behind them.

'What do you think?', Zeirra eyes shimmers in excitement. 'That was beautiful!', being too hyped finally did a toll on her when she accidentally push Mirai down. Zeirra blushes so hard Mirai starts to worry. Putting his palm on her foreheads 'Hmmm, you seems fine but your face is bloodshot red. Are you okay?'.

'Y-Yes', she choked. A blinding flash swoop in. Mouth gap opens when they sees Myra with a camera in her hand and fangirling. 'Yes! Operation MIRA is a go'. Myra dash out of the room leaving the stunned pair blushing to death.

Myra praise herself for the good work. She jump, her matchmaker sense is tingling and this time it's seems juicy.

'No! We should be the finishing act not the first!'. Velery bellows. Myra shivers, Velery can be very intimidating when she is unsatisfy.

'Listen squirt! I say we be the first. At that time the audience all are hyped up its easy to gain marks', a gruff voice shout. Myra tip toe silently towards the meeting room. Velery and Zeille are sitting across each other. Both seems flustered by the other pair ideas.

'I have a name! Call me by my name please!', Velery says tearing up. Myra growls, how ungentlemanly of Zeille to do that. She eyes the big buffoon, luckily he seems to be scared.

'Hey! Don't cry. Okay..okay we'll be the finishing act', Zeille comfort the girl. Velery raise her pinky 'Promise?', Zeille groan at first then he nod.

'Yay! Thanks Zeille', Velery tackle him into a hug. Underneath Zeille chuckle, 'Anything for you squirt', Velery puff up. She pinch his cheeks 'Hey stop calling me squirt already', Zeille snort.

'As if', Velery bit her lip, with red face she subconsciously state something that makes Myra dies of fangirling. 'I don't even know why I fall for you, you jerk'.

Stunned, Zeille feel his world spinning. His face getting hotter and his heart thumps so hard. Realising what she had blurt out, her face turn beet red. 'I...uhh. WHAT'S THAT LY? COMING!', Velery sprint out of the room. Idiot! Idiot! He doesn't loves me like that.Arghhh! How can I face him now!.

Myra smirk evilly, her eyes twinkle in excitement. Yes! Yes! They finally make a move. There's more too come. I can't wait for the upcoming act.'

Next day......

'Here we are!', Myra dance a little in front of the stage. All the girls are fascinated by the stage. June is busy looking through the stuff when familiar voice caught her attention.

'Rcking! What'cha doin here'. The boy with dirty blonde hair sashay towards her. Smells of over stuff cologne dissipate in the air making June feel a bit nausea.

'What's with that green face. I know.. My cologne is enticting isn't it?', he state proudly. June cast a spell on her nose, she wouldn't be able to smell anything for the next four hours.

'What brings you here?'.

'Well, to compete of course. This year we have competitors from the whole part of the country. I heard this year the serious guild Panther going to enter the tournament as well'.

June tap her chin, she gets the feelings something bad is going to happen. Like real bad.

'Hurry! We need to warn them!', the first cloaked person hiss. The other three silhouette follow their leaders tracks.

As the night getting darker, four figures dash through the thorny Forest. They ignore the rashes and gashes from the thorns that surrounds them.

Right now their main priority is too save their friends from up coming threat.

Fairy Hunter Diva mania: Chapter 2

'No... This couldn't be happening. She wasn't suppose to end up with him, he was too...', Ash close his ears, his eyes twitching when he listen June ramblings on and on about the novel she is reading.

Myra chuckle, she had been practicing her voice since they aboard the train. She earns a few claps when she practice soprano and when she started playing the guitar. Velery and Zeille are busy with their planning since the job about where to stay and doing concert was given to them at the eleventh hour. Even so, neither of them seems too be bothered by it.

Layla and Ray are discussing a few tips about what notes to play and what kind of chord they will create together. Myra gives out a long sigh, since the accident, Ash and Layla isn't a close as they use to be. Neither of them wants to speak about it.

'What's wrong with you? That was you thirtieth sigh this hour', Max lowers the magazine he is reading and face the bartender. 'Did you see the situation here?'. Max gaze towards their friends, he knows what is playing in his friend mind. 'Leave them be, if you mess their relationship things will worsen.'

Myra puff her cheeks, that wasn't the answer she was hoping for. Three hours pass, they arrive in Oceana. A small place that is surrounded by sapphire sparkling ocean. 'Huh? That's weird, I never know this is the first place we are heading too', Myra examine the paper again.

As she was at her thirtieth times Velery snatch the paper and lead them to a big golden statue resort. 'Whoa.. Vel-chan I never thought we can rent this kind of place'.

Velery shrug ' We don't, this isn't the resort where we will be staying.' She lead them to a much farther north. There stood a lodge with an old cabin near the edge of the cliff.

'Since we can't afford a good place I asked the service if they have any place where we can stay for free. And since we are participating they lent us this cabin. Big enough for the ten of us.' Velery try to sound happy and reassuring but she fail miserably.

They group respect Velery hard work, no one complains when they step inside. Probably because they got the most luxurious place of all. 'Vel-chan I thought you said we couldn't afford any of their rooms but this is simply magnificent'.

'Tourist don't dare to stay here because of the omnious cases happened at this place so... Since we are mages I thought huh why not. I mean we don't have scaredy cats on board right?'.

'R-Right', Ash and Ray shivers. Both of them have a really bad feeling about this trip.  Nevertheless, they continue their routine until the clock strikes three. Myra voice booms from the dining room calling the band members for lunch.

After that they head towards the dining room. There is plasma television with game console stuck to it. 'We need to charge it up before using it', Myra hand out her hand, there was some grunts but they remind themselves about the half demon in front of them.

A golden light enters the game console and the TV turn on. A game of music pop opens. Magically, two electric guitars appears. 'FAIRY GUITAR MADNESS!', Ash shout eyes twinkling. Zeirra jump to her feet 'This is great! We can practice!'.  Everyone sweatdropped, when the boss wants something she'll get it.

June ponder, she needs to write the lyrics for their first song but with the ruckus she isn't getting anything. Excusing herself she take a walk near the forest. June inhale the fresh mountain, all the trouble is wash away the minute she step in.

The sound of leaves cracking breaks her reverie, quick as lightning she launch an attack 'Crystal Slicer!'. The mysterious person jump up. 'Woa There !it's me Ash!'.

June sigh, ' You could have greeted me or something'. Ash chuckle, there was a moment of silence. 'Why did you stalk me you weirdo?'.

Ash casually mentioned about Zeirra conquering the game and grunt about not getting his turn but in the end his voice sounded sad.

June tilt her head, curious. 'What ever is the matter Ash? You seemed down for some reason?'.

Ash avoid the question when he sprint down towards the ocean. June groan, she really wanted to know what happened between her sister and Ash. It's not like she is jealous or anything.

'Look at those two so perfect for each other', Myra cooed. She was hoping to infuriate Layla but she didn't give a damn about it.

'Look at them playing water so happily', she push harder. The result is the same, getting edgy she push the limits.

'Oh they kissed', Layla head jerk towards Myra direction. She push the bartender and peered over the small window. She sees nothing execept for the two teen laughing their heads off.

'Opss, I guess my eyes was playing tricks on me', Myra devilishly bat her eyelashes. 'But if they did kiss it wouldn't bother you right Layla. You did say you hated him'.

Layla is taken aback by that, she stomp to her room banging the door behind her. Myra chuckle plan for one succeeded.

She made way towards to kitchen. Max greet her with a stern expression when she close the fridge. 'What?', she innocently state.

Max sigh, 'I told you needn't to interrupt. Let them solve their problem'. Myra pout, she couldn't satnd looking at her friends dense behaviour anymore. One slight change will be enough.

'Tsk, whatever. But hear me sir, this will not be the end of my plans'.

'I wouldn't mind if you mess with our love lives', Max murmurs before he leaves the blushing girl.

Is it true? He loves me???? No! I need to focus. OTP'S READY TO SAIL!!!

Fairy Hunter : Chapter 8 (Chance)

As the duo step out, the gateway towards the gate close immediately. None of them said a word. The characters inside disturbs their night.

Just as they are about to head back towards the meeting room a loud thud is heard from another corner of the hallway.

'You better go back and inform the rest about our discoveries.' Zeirra didn't argue much. She have faith that Ray can handle what ever is making the noise.

Just for safety Ray coats his palm with water. There are possibilities the thing might attack him. He slowly make way towards the thing.

The silhouette of the thing is clearly seen. 'Who is there?', Ray half shout. His heart thumps, no answer.

A meek voice reply 'It's me June'. Ray dispel the water in his hand. June is a bloody mess with a torn up clothes showing off some unwanted places. Fighting off the desire he carries the weak state girl towards the infirmary.

After an hour, June is safe with bandaged abdomen, arms and feet. Ray hands the girl a cup of water. 'How's your trial?'. 

June's face darken, the crack on the cups is visible. Tears threatening to fall out. 'I failed', June breathe with hot tears trickling down her cheek.

'Sara end the test with a reason I couldn't understand', June voice is a bit hoarse from the constant sneezing and sobbing.

Ray could only reply with an 'O'. He put down his cup and heads out to the verandah. June follows his trail of shadows, his face looks serene. 

'I don't know if I am suited to ask but why did you fail?'. This time Ray look straight at the brave girl face. June quickly looks away, when she feels the hot stare coming from Ray.

She ponder for a minute before continuing 'Sara said our fight is meaningless. She said if I couldn't come up with a reason why I want to fight her then she wouldn't want to fight me anymore'.

Ray turns around, now June is facing his back. The winds batters against his skin making him look calm. 'Then what is your reason?'.

Another moment of quietness embrace them. 'Truth is I don't like to fight', June stand beside him. Her eyes are glued to the starry skies.

She inhale the fresh mountain air, searching for a serenity. 'I wish that I wasn't born as a mage. I hate fighting. Every time I fight these feeling always hold me back'.

'If so why are you still fighting?', their eyes met for the first time after months. Quickly, they turn their faces the other way. Why my heart couldn't stop banging on my chest?

June gulps, she never feels this shy before. After awhile, she manage to get her emotion under control. 'What about you? Why are you fighting?'. 

Bangs covers Ray's face. 'To see my brother', confused, June eyes the boy. A tear is visible at the corner of his eye. 'My brother was taken away from me when I was little. After our parents were gone he was the only family I have left. One day, a group of scientist force him to be a test subject for their experiment. At that time we were too poor to afford even a single grain of rice'.

Ray smirk 'Being an inconsiderate fool he is. My brother agrees to help. They promise me that my brother would come back but in the end he didn't. After that years pass. Many people believe that brother was killed but I know deep within my heart that he is still alive somewhere. That's why I fight, I fight to find the answers to his whereabouts. That fool, the least he could do is say good bye.'

Ray turns around shocked to see June tear stained face. 'Oi! Why are you crying'.

June shakes her head, she tries to wipe the tears away but they keep pouring out. 'Its just so sad. You suffered so much, it makes me cry'. Ray face soften, he brush June's hand.

Suddenly, June could feel his warm thumbs wiping all her sadness away. 'Acting all strong, holding the feelings inside, always cries when fails and always feel what others are sufferings.'

June stare into his blue orbs, still confused. 'Those are the things that I like about you'. June blush beet red. Ray chuckle softly.

'I really like you the way you originally are June. Naive and innocent. Loyal and serious with works. Cute and caring', his words only made her redder and redder until she feel light headed.

'Y-You do?', Ray gives her a nod.Maybe he isn't such an airhead, egoistic, prat and self centered after all.

'But..', June fidget, she is really impatient to know about what other people thought about her. 'You know you never makes a choice on your own'.

'What do you mean by that?'. Ray shrug, he continues to stare into the horizon. He seems hard to spit out the words. 'Well, everytime Layla says something you instantly follows her order or at least support her when you yourself knows its wrong.'

June grimace, she never really thought about that before. She hug herself, shielding her body from the cold midnight air. Just then Ray put on a jacket on her body.

He rub June's head, 'You know June. The first time I met you I instantly knows that you are someone special in your own way'.

His words flutters through her heart. 'No one ever said that to me before'. Ray closen their gap, ' Really? I thought someone as pretty as you have a lot of boys chasing you down'.

'As if. For my whole life no one dares to step even a feet close to me. You know how hard it is to live as the cursed one?. That's why I change appearance in hope that people wouldn't look down or afraid of me.'

Ray fold his arm ' Well I guess they are stupid then'. He sounded pretty piss off. June chuckle at the cute side of Ray. 'Why?', she flashes him one of her stunning smile.

'Well, they are for one stupid for ignoring someone as stunning and cute like you', smokes start to comes out of June's ears, she's getting light headed yet again.

'Whoa there', Ray manage to catch her before she falls. He touches her forehead and flinch 'Girl! Your temperature is off the chart!'. Ray carries her inside and tuck her to sleep.

'Hey Zeirra. Did you get anything?', Zeirra grumbles at the question. The ancient characters really hurt her head. 'I did find the door but there are characters on it and it seems as if it was written by somebody but to be exact by a mineral dragon'.

Zeille jump on his feet, subcounscious he grab Zeirra by her collar. 'TELL ME WHERE THE GATE IS?!'. Let just say he wish for his death when Zeirra wears her elemental earth armor with magna hammer.

Everyone there is stunned, ' That certainly gonna give me nightmares', Ash mumbles. Layla reply with a slight nod. She's pretty worried when her sister isn't coming back.

Ash touch her shoulder and she flinch. 'Ly, what is wrong with you?'. Layla pull herself up. 'I'm worried sick, June haven't comeback since her training is over.'

No one said a word, Zeirra bump her fist. 'Oh yeah! I forgot, there is this weird sound when me and Ray were coming back.' Not another word was said the whole gang especially Layla already rush down towards the hall way.

June flutters her eyes open, her headache is gone. She tries to sit up, a damp white clothe fall on her lap. 'Awake already', Ray comes out with a chicken soup in hand. Feeling a bit fuzzy June didn't reply.

He place his hand on her forehead, a smile spread across his face. 'Finally, your temperature is in a normal state'. Gazing into nothingness, June flash him a frown. 'How long have I been out?'.

Ray grab the bowl and blew the smokes away. 'Hmmm, an hour or so', June look out at the verandah. Dawn is upon them. Taking off the covers she staggers to go to the verandah.

'Hey! You aren't fully heal yet. You should rest'. Ray try to pry the stubborn girl off the sliding door. She won't budge not even a little. 'Please let me see the sun arouse'. She gives Ray a puppy dog eyes. 'Fine', June jump with a joyous face.

Ray shakes his head in disbelief. 'What a hyper girl'. He grab the sheet and slowly make way towards her back. 'Warghh!', he wraps June with the sheet. 'Eahh! Let me go.' June tries to struggle free but Ray is too strong.

'Tickle attack', June starts to tickle his abdomen non-stop. Laugh erupted from the cacoon. 'Hahahaha stop! Please stop!'.

'Not a chance. Not until you set me free!', a ray of light pierce their eyes, making them stop what ever they are doing.

June awed the beautiful scenery as the sun raise itself from the mountains. A sudden warmth envelopes her. She feel a hot breath at her neck. Ray's arm snakes towards her waist pulling her closer to him as he wraps the sheet around them.

June fell extremely relaxed, I hope this will never end. I wish we can stay like this forever.  She rest her head on his chest. She close her eyes as she hears his heart thumps a rhythm that soothe her heart.

Warghh! My heart is thumping so hard!!!! I'm freaking out! I'm seriously freaking out!!!! Calm down Ray. We need to be professional. Take a few deep breath.

'June!', the door to the infirmary slam open. June push Ray aside. Her face turns beet red. Ray landed butt first on the ground. Grumpily, he rub his swollen butt. Ash flash him a knowing smile. 'YYYYYou like her', Ray jump.

'Shut up Fire freak! Who teach you how to roll your tongue like that!', his face flushes violent red. The rest could only give him the no-no glance.

'What is it with you guys! It's not like I like her or anything! I have someone I loved already!'. He steal a glance at Layla. The whole room went deathly quiet. Zeirra gives him the death stare and mouthed, you are so dead. She isn't the only one, to think like that. The whole pack is ready to pounce him.

Luckily, June manages to save him. 'Its okay guys. I too don't have any special feelings for him. We just simply enjoy each other company. Right Ray-san', June flash him a smile. A smile the only one person knows the meaning behind it.

'Y-Yeah', Ray hesitated. 'Am I interrupting anything important?', Sara made a bee line towards June. She cross her arms in a scowling manners. 'Have you gotten your answers yet? I don't have all the in the world you know.'

Layla step in front of her sister ' Hey watch it! Can you be more polite?'.

'Scramp ant', Sara's emotionless face ricks Layla so bad she wants to punch her face, but a warm fire envelopes her giving off a soothing warmth. 'Thank you nee-chan, I can handle it on my own'.

Layla didn't budge but judging by June's look, she gives up. Mustering all her strength June sate her purpose. 'That is why I need to fight you Sara. I hope you understand'. The is a brief silence between them.

'Now that's the answer I wanted to hear', Sara prized the girl with a shining glittering baby blue Pearl. Sara hold June's palm and freely hand her the pearl.

'But I didn't fight for it just yet. Why did you give it to me so freely?'. Sara once again folds her arms but her expression softens 'You never like fighting am I right? So why am I going to force you? There are more ways to win a war rather than blood shedding. Even so it is obligated for us to learn a few combat moves. Rest up my dear girl. Tomorrow we will have an outing. Rest up', just before Sara leaves the room she reminded the gang to bring Their pearl with them.

It dawned in Velery. 'Wait you guys! I found out the answers!', she hop happily around the room. She keep on chanting 'I found it'. Zeille grab her by her foot and run her upside down, its a luck she is wearing a trousers instead of skirt.

'Metal jerk!', Velery blew raspberry at the guy. 'Put me down, the blood are rushing through my head'. Without a second thought Zeille put her down gently.

'I know exactly what we requires. The rose, the tears and the fire! I knew it'. All eyes are glued on her as she unfolds the mystery. 'What the riddle mean was-'.

'The pearls', Zeille butts in. Velery angrily pouts at corner. Zeille fidget with his hair. It took him forty minutes just to let Velery off the room corner. You can have the example parts. I won't cut in.' Velery eyes his, she can see the struth sparkling inside his gorgeous hazel eyes.

'The pearls they meant were Zeirra' s, June's and Ash's. They have the same back ground plus their pearls suits the description alright'.

'Umm, there's one prob. I don't have my pearl', Ash  spat. The sounds of boot approach the infirmary. Zeimmi, step in with a smug in his face. 'I can give you your pearl if you are ready for another fight. Tomorrow before we go for an outing'.

Being a hyped by he is Ash quickly agrees. June pull his hand, 'Ash, you did know he is the leader of the guardians right', that victorious smirk never left his face. The gang decided to have a sleepover in the infirmary since Shikari said the room is barely use. Since the infirmary have two different room the boys will take the left one and the girls will take the other.

That night the girls happily chatting about boys, next great move and some past memories. The boys on the other hand is eavesdropping and fighting over who get the best fire power. Ray slump himself on the bed. 'Hey water pants who is that special girl you talked about?'.

Right on cue the boys hoard him. Ray sweat dropped, he never thought the boys would be this nosy. 'It's Layla', he half whisper with a tint of nervousness. Ash ears perk up at the mentioning of Layla's name. He punch Ray square on the jaw.

'How could you!', Ash shouted.

Massaging his jaw 'What do you mean you Ash for brain'.

Infuriated Ash grab him by his neck, Ash face darken with a tint of anger. 'You stupid fool! How could you be so dense about things like this!'. He slammed Ray on the ground. The rest of the boys, couldn't do a thing. They know what Ash says is true.

Huffing Ash strode for the door only to be greet by a shocked face June. 'Umm, Zeirra said to come right over to the other side of the infirmary. They are having movie night.'

Ash run after the sad face girl. He keeps following her silhouette until they reach the gateway to the garden. 'June! June! Where are you?!',  there is a sob before June reply his calls. He push the blueberry bushes. Underneath a shady tree June dip her legs into a lake.

'I'm sorry', Ash takes a seat right next time her.

'Why are you sorry?', the hoarse voice is visible. Ash fiddle with the stone right next to him before he throws it towards the lake.

'Well, for not cutting the heartless bastard and feed his bones and meat to the shark'. June laugh, she wipe a tear from the corner of her eyes. Ash breath a sigh of relief when June finally smile after a long while.

'You really care a lot about Ray don't you Ash?', at first Ash refuses to admit it but after awhile he gives up.

'He and I share the same pain but u think her hold.much worse burden than me. He always beats himself up after when happened with Star. I didn't means to offend him when I went sad about Star death, but losing someone you love right in front of you really hurts you know.'

Tears threaten to trickle down her cheek. 'How stupid am I? To think I suffered the most'. She giggles.

'But you do care a lot about Ray don't you? He's like your best buddy or something'.

Ash blush 'S-Shut up'.

'Come on admit it! Admit it!'. Ash desperately runs away with his tail between his legs. Fighting bag guys he can handle but feelings... he's not the type.

After awhile June jump and tackle him to the ground. After struggling for ten minutes, Ash manges to create a barrier between the both of them.

'C'mere you', June jump and tackle him into a bug bear hug. They laugh yet again as they fall into the lake. Both of the teenagers laugh non-stop. They keep on laughing their heads off until the clock strikes twelve.

'What did you two did', Zeirra shakes her head in disbelief. 'Change you clothes. You are dripping mud all over the rug.'

Ash nonchalantly takes off his shirt leaving his chest bare. June gulps, she forgotten to bring her clothes along. 'Hey why aren't you changing?'.

'Forgot to bring my clothes'. Ash tug her by her wrist making her foreheads touch his. Spoon dropped, cup shattered, mouth hang open. They all are shock by Ash's calm but heart throbbing action.

Orange lining start to appear around June's body. 'Warm', June breathe. Steam start to come out as her clothes are drying. After he finished he gives June one of his signature goofy smile 'Can't leave you sick for me big day tomorrow'.

June smile, she never feel this loved before. And she glad the person who makes her feel like this is Ash and no one else.
