Fairy Hunter idol: Chapter 5

June lock herself inside her room for two hours, Myra, Zeirra, Ash and Layla start to worry. They try everything to lure her out,  none of it works. Myra sigh, 'I need to start helping Velery with dinner. Tell me when she's is out'.

Ash harshly shakes his head. 'Argh!!! This wouldn't have happened if I arrive sooner.' 

'What happened, when I was out?'. Layla heard only part of the story.  And somehow, she got a feeling that half of it were her fault. Ash face her, her eyes glimmers in a spark of oblivious. He opens his mouth but no words comes out.

'It's not you fault fore sure', June finally step into the living room, she's wearing a hoodie jacket in the color of blue, long sweatpants with black glasses. Her hair is in ponytail style.

'Ash could you please tell them I wouldn't be joining for dinner. If the want to find me I'm in the music room'. June gives them a slight wave before disappearing into the corridor. Ash grunt, he stomp his feet. Anger is an understatement, he's totally infuriated. He dash into the kitchen and sock Ray straight on the jaw. 'What the hell man!'. Blood drip from his now bruised lips.

He wants a payback but judging by Ash's facial expression. Fighting him now can cause a serious injuries. Even so....'What's wrong with you flame head!', he kick Ash's knee. Zeirra watch with her veins twitching on her temple. Her fist clenched and unclenched, She really want to beat the boys where sun don't shine. 'Myra... Can't I at least punch their face?!!', she said between gritted teeth. Layla laugh nervously, the sight can bring anyone animal soul espacially Zeirra.

Myra holds the knight's hand 'Don't. Ash will beat the lights out of him anyway. Furthermore, don't you think Ash is giving Ray a fair punishment for what he did'. Myra sounds so casual, as if she didn't care even if Ray perish from the world. Zeirra finally admit defeat 'Still though, he could have told me he wanted to do that. I can help.' Layla sweat dropped, that's not the kind of answer she was hoping.

Ash jump just in time, he then kick Ray's shoulder making him stumbling a few meters back. Ray grunt, something is bothering his friend here. Ruthlessly, he grab Ray by the collar. 'You better fix this!', his words spit out like a venom.

Ray claw his hand hoping that his friend will come to his senses. His face is almost blue until a blur of dark blue hair beg Ash to let him down. Reluctantly, he let his friend go. 'Ray? Are you alright?', June give Ash a glare to keep away. Ray takes a deep breath, a wheezing sounds echoes through out the living room.

'Why?', he ask. Ray couldn't help himself but adore this girl. No matter how harsh she is treated, she always treat others better. June, didn't reply her hands rubs his back in circle. Finally, after he regains his breathing rhythm June answers. 'I have a way, I don't treat people the way I hate to be treated'.

After saying that, June excuse herself towards the music room. Ray couldn't explain this pinching feeling of his heart. Myra sermon, break his train of thought. He scrambles his way towards the dining room. All his friends are there around a round table with various delicious looking food presented. Ray scan the perimeter, one person seems to be missing. 'Hey, isn't June going to join us?', Ray could swear he sees Myra and Zeirra smirking. 'She wouldn't be joining us tonight', Myra nonchalantly state.

'What!! Why!!', Ray claps his mouth. He slump into his seat with his face in fifty shades of red. It's worse when his friends are teasing and whistling. Soon, the laughter dies down, Myra hands him a plate of mashed potatoes with roasted chicken. Ray gulps, the food presented to him seems inedible. He lost his appetite altogether. Myra giggle softly, 'If you wants to eat with her that much than you can bring her food', his face brightens up upon hearing the offer but he control his cool so his façade wouldn't fall apart.

'Umm... I guess.' Like a lightning he pick up the nearest he can get and dash out of the dining room.

'You did that on purpose didn't you.' Zeirra smirk, it wasn't that hard to figure if someone has been tricked. Myra takes a bit of her mashed potatoes, a victorious smile spread across her face. 'I know nothing of sort', she answer innocently. Max gives her a glare which she didn't realize before returning to eat his food.

Ray glide towards the music room. A soft piece of a music can be heard though out the hallway. Ray stop absurdly in front of the music room. He's both nervous and guilty. The feelings are drowning him. He's afraid, his heart clenched at every step he made here. He can't back out just yet. Ray was about to give up when an angelic voice flow through the thin door.

I know it feels hurtful,
I know its a torture,
Giving up was my choice,
Until you came to my world,

Your eyes, they make me crazy,

Ray start to freak out, the song suddenly stop in the middle of the chorus. Images of bad things flashes through his mind. Without thinking through, Ray slam the door open. June flinched when the door to the music room slam open. An anxious Ray with a tray of food in his hand.

'Don't stop', his voice comes out as a whisper. A red hue is evident on his cheeks. June brush it off with a reason he might be embarrassed after his sudden outburst. Ray put down the tray on the nearest cofee table. 'What would you like me to play?', June ask without looking. Her fingers brush over the key off the piano. The pain on her shoulder stung every time she look at Ray. 'Fur Elise', Ray answer. The ocean of guilty drown his soul.

When he didn't hear the notes, Ray turn completely facing June. At the same time June look at him searching for a reason why he wants such song to be played. When their eyes met for the first time in months an indescribable feeling suffocates their lungs. June opens her mouth to start a conversation, but nothing comes out. Silence embrace them for a little while. Deciding to break the awkward moment Ray takes a seat beside June. His fingers glide across the piano. June watch eagerly, she never thought her crush could be so delicate.

'I never thought you could play a piano?'.

Ray scoff, he always get that whenever he shows his true nature. At the last note he stop and look at her. Guilty once again drawn across his face. 'I forgive you', June simply said.

'How did you know?'.

This time June scoff, 'You isn't that hard to read. This song.... It's so dark. Are you still mourning about your brother?'.

Ray didn't respond his facial expressions should answer his question. June return her gaze towards the keyboard once more. This time she play 'Blue stone alley'. Ray raise his face, his mouth twist into a smile. 'My brother use to play that when I was sad', he stated.

'I know  I'm much considered as a stranger but if you need a shoulder to cry onto' you can ask me'. Ray chuckle, no one has ever tell him that before. June is one of a kind, he never meet such a caring girl. A pretty one at that. 'Thank you, that means a lot. Now come on let me teach you Turkish March'. June nod, her relationship with Ray have improve not big but just enough.
Myra chuckle, this is more than she anticipated. Both of them are too busy with music they didn't realise her presence. With a slight sigh, Myra close the door behind her.

***************THE NEXT DAY********
People fill the crowd stage with light sticks and banners. The Fairy Hunter guild covered half the front row seat. Ash pace back and fro on the back stage. His guitar bounce behind his back. 'Ash!!! Calm down its gonna be okay!', June reassure.

'How can I calm down are-', Ash finally stop after gaining a kiss on the cheek from June. 'Hmph! I wonder why that's the only way you would shut up?!'. Ash giggle nervously. June sigh, sometimes her friends can be really hard to understand.

The first team to start is Panther. It seems the dashboard changes, now its between two and two. Today Fairy Hunter will fight with Panther. The lead singer Kurama pull the mic.

'We're here to rock your world'.

I know we just met recently,
But I feel like we're mean to be together,
We're know that you and me,
Are one.

Together as one!!
Yeah...

After five minute, the props for Fairy Hunter is set and ready. June gives Ash a reassuring smile before they start performing.

'Good morning Guys!!! We're here to sing Our memorabilia!!!'.

Do you remember when we first met,
I know I do like it was yesterday,
Your smile, your laugh, your heart,
I miss it all,
Let us be friends,

Maybe more if you don't mind,
I know I can be such a nuisances,
But you always put it up,
Like no one else,

Ash step down from the stage, while singing he face Layla.

For a mistake I once did,
Can you forgive me for it,
I know you miss me like I miss you,
So lets not fight anymore,

June smile satisfyingly when she sees her sister tearing up. Ash put out his hand, Layla gladly take his hand and dance along with Ash. Ash brought her to the center stage and twirl her around. He place their forehead together.

Will you forgive me for what I did,
I truly miss you,
My friend the complete of my whole.

Layla gives him a slight nod,  tears drip down her face. This is more than she ever imagine. June watch from behind as the couple are celebrated with whistling and cheering. But her heart pinch every second when she witness their intimate bond. She longed for those feelings for the longest of time. Her sister certainly is lucky. Before anyone could see her she sprint out from the stage towards the sea.

The whistling and cheering subside as she step further away. Ray watch solemnly when Ash kisses Layla's forehead resulting the young mage to become redder. His heart pinch at every seconds. He wish so hard that the man who will be touching Layla is him. As he was monologuing with himself; snow descend towards the earth. Immediately he knows what's happening.

He push the crowds aside, ignoring the stares and cursing he gains. Once his eye meets Ash, he pry him off Layla. Pushing her aside he grab his friends hand. 'Where is June?'. His words spits out like a venom.

'What do you mean? She's right-', Ash stop, his eyes went big. June is nowhere to be seen. 'S-She was right there a minute ago', he stuttered. Ray groan, he slam Ash down before sprinting to the ocean. Was she hurt?!! Does she have feelings for Ash? He sigh in relief, June sit silently watching the sun set with her knee pull to her chest. Her dark dress dusted by the sand.

'Hey.. Why are you here all alone?'. June who finally realise his presence reply with a painful smile.

'When I'm sad, I always watch the sunset. Because I know if something makes me sad today something else will make me smile tomorrow. As long as I follow HIS rules, I'll be fine.' Ray couldn't help it when his heart skip a bit for this girl.

Ray put his coat over her shoulder, 'Hey, you will catch a cold. Come here. Since you mend my broken heart then I'll return the favor.' June couldn't help smile and tear up.

'Thank you', June sobs, this is more then she need. Him by her side, even though they were nothing more than friends.

Fairy Hunter (chance): Chapter 15

After their lunch Ari usher them to a meeting room inside the Leo's tower. Inside all of the princes and princesses are ready and informed about the situation. Ash eyes all of them, their faces are afraid and scared especially the girls. Under the Pisces throne a boy arise 'Are you the ones who is going to replace Aqi and Leo?', both girls nod. Ari usher them to a seat of each Zodiac.

'I think we should at least knows their identities', Scari the daughter of Scorpio stated, her guns. Ari nod, understanding their situation. She gives the girl a hoping look. Sighing the girl with blue orbs rise first and bow 'Hello, My name is June Hikari. I will be the replacement for Aqi'. The girl with pink Orbs rise next, 'A pleasure to meet you, I'm', *bang* the door slams open, Leo runs in with his tail between his legs. The orbs shines brightly. they keep on buzzing and jumping like crazy lunatics when a blue light approach the meeting room. The light parts slowly, a blue hair sticking out, blue shirt pops out and a familiar smile appears.

'My oh my, this is not how I imagine how our next encounter will be', Isaac tilt Junes chin. Disgusted, June slapped his hand away, snow encircling around her as she subconsciously setting a freezing tundra in the room. Isaac pull back afraid he might be freeze to death. 'Whoa there, I ain't gonna hurt ya'.

He snarl,'I'm here to show you this', Isaac blast a blue light. The images of Nature and Zeille being cornered appear. 'You better hurry it up, the clock is ticking.'

'Vella, why are you torturing yourself like this?', Velery sheepishly smile, she cast away the tons of books of magic histories. Serene's voice is full of concern, slowly she pull of her reading glasses. She gains the nick name Vella for her constant searching. 'I can't rest until I find the answers', Serene sigh in defeat. Her descendant can be irking worse than herself.

Harshly she tug Velery towards a hidden dead end corner of the library. Velery tries to protest but her mouth is shut when the wall separates themselves revealing a secret passageway. Worst, ominous aura is seeping from the inside of the passage. She eyes Serene for answers. Without a word of warning Serene push her inside and into the wall. A pungent smell thrust her nostrils making her dizzy and queasy at the same time. 'Follow me', Serene step forward, she walks towards a tiny dot of white light. It shines brighter than any light Velery had ever witness.

Not wanting to be left behind, she run towards Serene. Tons of question weights on her mind, she wishes to speak but her voice somehow lost into nothingness. 'I know you have a tons of question in your head but save it for later. What I will show you is beyond comprehend. It can alter the whole history of Floweria. It can also perverted the laws of nature. And to avoid that, I wish nothing but silence from you', her voice comes out stern and demanding with a hint of demand. Velery gulps, Serene never talks that way before to anybody. She thought, whatever she will cast her eyes on probably be the worse possible case scenario. It can be either the savior of humanity or the total key of destruction.

After a long walk they finally arrive at the heart of the passage. Beyond it lies a plain in the color of azure, white sky with cool natural breeze. Serene lead Velery through the plain into a ruin. Its all crumble with mysterious drawings. One from which Velery accidentally reads inside one of the books. Where the story begins. that's all she can decipher since the rest are either smudge or destroy. Minute later they arrive in a room where an altar is place on the center. Velery could feel a soothing aura surrounding the place. The aura indicates something up the wall, she didn't dare to look up. 'Look up child', her voice seems sad all of the sudden. Hesitantly Velery lift her heads following the veins that popped on the wall. Her eyes turns wide as dining plates when her vision landed on the heart of the temple.

'No. She's here all along', her voice comes out squeaky. Star embedded to the wall with stones almost covers half her face. Golden light flow out of her body into the veins then out the temple. A thunder roars shaking the poor petite heart. 'One of our friends are in trouble', Serene state.

Velery wipes the teas from her eyes, 'How can you tell?'. Serene flash her a sad expression. She walk up the altar and brush her fingers on the biggest vein. 'Star is alive but death almost takes over her'. Serene statement send a wave of confusion towards Velery. She can't fully understand what Serene is trying to comprehend. 'In order to change the story from repeating again she sacrifice herself by wiping the demonic creature from existence. The demonic creature that will posses June and turn her heart forever evil.' Velery gasp, she never herd this side of the story.

'How can she be here when she is suppose to dissolve into thin air?'.

Serene look up, a mother's heart can't be more hurt to see their child suffering alone and sick when they know they can do absolutely nothing to help them. 'Star is different from the others, she posses something more than any of the guardians. She is born as the golden guardian. A guardian that have the capabilities of changing something. When they have done their work, their body will return here and turn to stone. When Star does her's. something went haywire. As for the side effect, a child from the other dimension is brought in here, a child who have no capabilities or what so ever. So weak and frail. This child is different.She is powerless. But now she gain power, a power which would not last'. After her last word Serene look Velery straight in the eye. Quickly she averted her gaze, she bit her bottom lip. Serene don't have to state the name of the child because she fairly knows who the child is.

'Then, what do you suggest the child do? She has been useless her whole life. One time and one time only she finally gain her wish. Now, she is told that she is forbidden from using it. What is she suppose to do now? What?'. Dark aura swirl around her body, almost engulfing her completely in darkness. Her small hand starts to grow claws, her back start to sprout wings. Serene gasp, her head turn frantically around, she could feel the barrier surrounding their temple are descending. More importantly, the darkness will catch their first prey. 'I never thought the day I will use my powers again has come'. Her palm lighten up in the color of gold. She place both of her palms at the side of Velery's head. 'Hikari', the light rushes through Velery's veins. But before another step Serene is thrown aback slamming herself into the wall.

'The darkness, they are stronger'.

Zeille grunt, he has been tugging the vines for far too long. He screech when the green liquid enters his skin. The pain worsen, the thorn dig deeper into his flesh squirming around searching for his arteries. Just when the thorns about to pierce his arteries it exploded into pieces. 'Sorry keeping you waiting dude!', Ray flash him an apologetic smile. Flore turn around, the sudden explosion disturb him from opening the chest.

'How did you destroy my vines!', Ray chuckle.

'I'm a water mage. I manipulates anything that involves water. Plants have water in their xylem and yours aren't excluded'. Flore grit his teeth, the boy in front of him didn't seems much of a threat. Thinking things back he is a plant mage and the boy is water. On the logic side plant will win over water, not the other way around. Ray crouch down and hand Zeille a bubble of azure sparkling water. Their enemy seems to be in deep thought, this is his chance to counterattack. 'Here take this.'

'You can't feed me this trash', his voice comes out hoarse and weak.

'Stop being such a baby! I took me awhile to find this water. It will push out the toxic inside your body plus rejuvenate your energy and magic. In the mean time, I'll handle this woman-guy here'. Zeille tug the water, in one gulp all of them goes down his throat. His body start to build up heat, his brain feel like it's being grind inside out. Ray crack his knuckles, now he got to use his power full time and no holds back. Raising his index finger a jet of water shot out hitting Flore square on his abdomen. Unfortunately Flore manage to summon a shield made out of super sucking veins.

'Fufufu, do you really think that you can win over me with such little tricks?'.

'Well, I got more where that come from! Water wave!', eight waves aimed at Flore in every corner. He didn't move an inch but he did smile. 'Child's play', one raise of his hand vines with thousands of roots emerge from the bottom of his feet sucking every single water. The vines bent and warps Flore in a protective way. 'I'm plant and you are water. Plant is always dominant over the element of yours'. Ray 'tsk' this battle have turn out better than he expected.

'We'll see about that!', this time using the water from the soil he flooded the floor of the temple making the place full of water in other word the advantage for both of them. 'Hmmm, I don't know whether you are astute or just plain senseless, you know we both have advantages here right?'. Ray push his left leg a few centimeters back. 'Yeah I'm pretty aware about that. But you need to know, this is MY playground!', using his super speed and force he manage to break through the vines and headbutted Flore towards the altar destroying it into dust.

'You bastard!', the bangs of Flore's becomes messy as he stood up. 'Now you have done it!', from the sleeve of his shirts thousands and thousand of vines shoot out. they fall into the water sucking every single water until none left. Ray smile, this happens according to his plan. Their enemy didn't see what is coming his way. 'Shoot! Water balls!', balls of water shoot out from his palm hitting Flore's vines then cutting them into half.

Rubbing his sore wrist Ray smile viciously, he loves it when ever their opponent are dazed. Flore finally reach his max point of sanity. He bit his thumb so deep; red liquid ooze out. 'I never thought a teenager would force me to use my big gun!', the red blood drip onto the soggy floor. Curious of his opponents spell Ray stood there watching Flore's next move.

                                     Rise from the depths of the ocean,

                                      the haunted of the sea and the feared of the land,

                                          hear the cries of your sole master, 

                                      Rise my underlings!!!! Hear my commands,

                              Rise! Planteria Riverta 

Weird grey colored vines emerges from the ground slithering and wrapping Flore into their veins. In minutes the vines morphed into hand and legs thus creating a new opponent. A massive bad news. Ray shiver at the sight. The monstrous tree like man stood tall. the ruins collapse as the monster keep on growing. Remembering about Zeille,Ray dash through the crumbling bits. He quickly wrap a bubble of water around Zeille and himself. His plan back fired on him when now he have to fight a sixty feet monster.

She couldn't contain her anger as the projectiles keep on filming their friends in a pinch. The orb beside her jump up and down following her disturb heart. A cold hand latch onto her fiery one. 'Calm down, we feel the same', June nudge her head towards Ash and the Zodiacs. All of them are having a weird face on. Ari finally manage to cast out the video. 

'I think it's time for our final guest to expose herself. She have been hiding her identity for far too long'.

The girl sigh, she takes a bow, 'Hello, My name is Zeirra and I'll be the replacement for Leo on the gatherings'.

Can the gang finally catch up on their enemy? or will they perish like every one else? Does the light of hope still shine on them? or has it black out? Questions sill remain unanswered. If you are curious then stay tune for the next chapter!!!!
